Yes sorry for moving down the road. Meanwhile I heard in a car park that Paxman is standing for Prime Minister on a manifesto of getting Maidstone United into FIFA 2020. I also heard he wants to Remain

Paxman has become a luxury player that sadly we cannot afford this year, we have needed 11 players on the pitch who will fight an battle for 90 mins each an every game not just shine for 10 mins then disappear, maybe that is what JS has told him, personally I dont think he will be able to fight his way back into the side on a regular basis as it would mean changing how he plays a game an I dont think he,s gifted enough to do that, so for the best he needs to seek his fame elsewhere. In respect of battling for 90 minutes, there are many players who are in front on Pax who are just as inconsistent at this level. Pax alone is not to blame for this season.

I have not said that Pax alone is to blame for this seasons shambles.

Can’t blame him leaving for first team football, but really they are the new Margate! I guess a few women are crying tonight.

Deary me the meltdown on social media about him leaving is comical.

Deary me the meltdown on social media about him leaving is comical. Can't understand the big fuss with him, ran around like a headless chicken, would play one decent ball in ten games and gifted possession to the opponents more than he found a teammate with his passing. Had two good games this season against Braintree and Aldershot, and played one great pass in the away game at Dagenham and that's it has been poor the rest of the season.

A luxury player who we could ill afford to keep, hope he goes on to fulfill his potential and thanks for your efforts over the years Jack.

As Jay was down at the Gallagher, presumably scouting during the Gills game last week, I assumed that he Paxman would soon be in a margate shirt

From the Stones' official website: "Jack was a part of both our Ryman Premier and Vanarama National League South winning squads" Funny, I don't remember us having a 'Vanarama National League South winning squad'. But there again I don't really remember what 'winning' is either.

Good luck but I think he’s found his level and about time he moved on.

That would be the same level we’ll be playing at next season! I think it’s a real pity to let a player with his potential go and that we haven’t been able to develop him more as a player.

Not sure he is joining a happy ship. Ricay have lost their last four games and drew the one before that - they are second from bottom of the form table in NLS and in serious danger of not making the play-offs

I rated Pax but he hasn’t been able to contribute consistently. Maybe due to the shape and quality of the midfield.
Could turn out to be a mistake, but either way, JS will have his ideas and Pax should be playing week in week out for someone

It was time for him to move on, but why oh why did it have to be Bill and Ricky? Did Wheeler rate Pax when he was at JWW? Margate was my bet too. Ah well.
