Come back Jay, Directors make him an offer that he couldn’t refuse. You know it makes sense!

Can you see anyone better out there? Time for the anti-Jsy brigade to accept that it was a mistake to get rid of him. It was supposed to give us hope, but instead it's given us our worst ever season and cost us our NL place. A place that we should remember, Jay gave us.

Whatever level of football we played under Saunders it was route one hoofball. Its the only style he knows. We need a manager who knows this league and above. Missed out on Hill but need someone of that standard.

This is a club lots of decent candidates will want to manage.

It wasnt always hoof ball. Remember beating Cheltenham away in FA cup? Can’t imagine this team ever doing that

Ask the owners. You stick with your sentimentalism, I'll stick with my pragmatism.

Wheeler was the cheap option that's why. I know for a fact Gary Hill and Adie Pennock were both interested in the job....both would of been way better than Wheeler.

This season has been a big mess. Jay should not have been sacked until we had a suitable manager lined up. The owners messed up by picking someone with no experience. Get an experienced manager in now that will take us back up next year. Sorry but Lewis and Walton won’t do that. The heart has been ripped out of the club and the next manager needs to bring it back. Watch the attendances drop for the rest of the season. We need a goal and we bring on Aryan. No clue at all.

It seems to me the three people at the top of the club are out of their depth in the modern professional game. Maybe time to hand themselves honorary titles and appoint a young general manager with a good contacts book and understanding of how football works these days. If we think we are down, I would persevere with the current caretakers until the end of the season, as at least the football was attacking and sometimes even exciting today.

To give the board credit they are not rushing into a replacement. I'd have Jay back because he has black and amber through his veins. What has happened to our club this season is heartbreaking. We have (probably) surrendered our NL place and I seriously do not think we would be second bottom had Jay stayed. Some longterm Stones fans stayed in the pub in town today. Fans that have travelled the UK watching this great club.
...let's hope for the anti-jay brigade that the new manager can win three promotions in four years and unite the fans again.
