That’s worrying if they aren’t perturbed at their manager dropping them like a stone in their hour of need. That’s why I firmly hope he is very much a No2 like Tris was and that John Still leads from the front as clear No1. But isn’t it the case that if he’d stayed with Braintree, he’d almost certainly have been relegated with them for the 2nd time in 3 seasons, from the same division. Might explain why they’re not getting too up tight about it

Would be very happy if the new JS can bring Dan Sweeney back with him.
Saunders saw a lot of potential in him 4/5 years ago when he brought him in, which it seems he’s started to deliver on in recent times, getting MOTM on several occasions
I saw him v Bristol Rovers a few weeks back and he put in a very solid, bordering on standout performance, that day

Apart from not keeping Braintree in NL, his only other clubs are Waltham Forest, Thurrock, and Grays. HH's biggest success was as firmly a No2 to John Stills No1 at Luton, so please lets keep it that way at JWW, and we the could have an exctitng next 18 months under JS,HH and SW, and watching football at the Gallagher may become fun again, without dancing girls!

I can’t see HH coming to us without the chance of stepping up to number one after 18months. Also with Still semi retired already in 18 months he will surely call it a day. HH could learn a lot about the job from Still in that time. Also HH has won a few games recently despite losing some of his best players. I can’t see any negatives to this situation as it stands. Onwards and upwards COYS

Onwards and upwards COYS HH as No1 gradually being phased in over 18 months after would not be a problem, as long as JS is leading us for the next 6-12.
