A very impressive interview. He got the tone right, admitted some mistakes, didnt blame others. Very authentic and humble. Thanks Tristan.

That's two tough away matches and only conceded two goals. Good start for the new keeper. Good to see Harry rotating the squad, keeping players alert, the opposition guessing and mixing ideas. Having seen the Barrow performance on the highlights I thought we were unlucky not to come away with something there. This cup game was a bit of a distraction but high-flying Woking seem to have been fairly easily tamed. In Harry we trust. " That's two tough away matches and only conceded two goals." Barrow are mid-table and their most recent home league win before playing us was at the beginning of October. Woking are in the division below ours. Given our current position and form all of our games can be classified as 'tough', but I would suggest that we have, and moving forward we will face much tougher opposition than those two clubs. Football is a results business, and whilst only conceding 2 goals in these two games might be seen as positive to you, they were part of a defeat and a draw. Conceding fewer goals is important, but only if we score more and gain positive results. I'd rather have two 3-2 victories over a 1-0 defeat and a 1-1 draw any time. " Good start for the new keeper." Certainly made some good saves over both matches, but ultimately it was his mistake that led to our defeat at Barrow. " Good to see Harry rotating the squad, keeping players alert, the opposition guessing and mixing ideas." No it isn't! Do you really think that opposition teams look at us thinking 'Oh no! We've trained this week expecting to face a back 4 and instead we're facing a back 3 made up of a left-back and two midfielders, we're so confused! Whadda we gonna do! Aarrrgh!!!' No. All they are seeing is 11 players short on form, confidence and ideas. It isn't making any difference to them who those individual 11 players are. The consensus opinion among our fans at the moment is that we have better players and a better squad now than at any point, but we need a settled side so that the players can gel. The occasional change because of injuries, suspensions etc. is understandable and unavoidable but the way our management team are going about things is leading to confusion amongst our side, not the teams we are facing. I don't like the way Wheeler-dealer is going about things with the set up of the team on the pitch, and as the past few days have highlighted, he only opens his mouth to change feet when dealing with the media. He is a used-car salesman with a few coaching badges. I am ashamed to say that I fell for his spiel when he was appointed, but he's mugged me off. He's mugged us all off. He's sold me a Lada after convincing me it's performance was comparable to that of a Porsche and despite my complaints, refuses to honour the details of the sales contract with regard to repair, refund or replace. Your blinkered loyalty to him and his ideas is admirable I guess, but I can't work out if you are a friend or family member of his as I see no other reason for it.

Wow! Don't quite agree with all that, but an excellent post.

All but the last sentence maybe? I was allowing a little poetic licence...

Just been watching Woking's highlights of the game on YouTube and must give credit where it is due. Firstly, it appears we were trying to play some football. Secondly, Muldoon can have no complaints. The first foul could easily have been a straight red, even if the falling over for the second yellow was in the dying swan category. We took our goal well, even if it was the sort that we normally give away ourselves, while the backs to the wall siege at the end had shades of The Alamo or Rourke's Drift. Shame about their goal, for though it was probably deserved in terms of pressure, given that the footage is Woking's take on proceedings, they didn't appear to actually threaten much. A turning point? Who knows? Depends, as ever, on whichever side turns up next!

A turning point? Who knows? Depends, as ever, on whichever side turns up next! That first foul was right out of the 'how not to tackle someone if you want to stay on the pitch' instruction book! Lots of acrobatics from Woking on the other fouls though - taking advantage of the conditions/pitch? That rain! I wondered what the hissing noise was for a while before I cottoned on... One small comment - Worner seems to punch a lot, even when he could catch the ball. The one that led to their goal probably couldn't have been saved, but on some of the others he seemed to be choosing to punch it away, rather than stop it.

I thank Stonecoldsober for the comments about me being a friend or family member of Harry's. But I'm not. He's got a great squad together on, what has been said by other members of this forum recently, the same budget as Jay's. He has rotated players around, resting some and letting others have a chance, to operate a squad system. This is a long term strategy. Think fitness, clear ideas and competition. OK, we lost at Barrow by a goal-keeping mistake (his first game with the team, and only one mistake). But he looks to me like a much better option than 10 goal Smith. I stick by my comment that Barrow are a good side. Despite our win at home they pretty well outplayed us. Mullins was caught straddling in the penalty area and the ball hit him.
