Worgs will always command support from many of our supporters. And why not ? What is there not to like about the guy ? Excellent keeper coach, brilliant with the youngsters He remains a good shot stopper to be sure. Great character to have in the dressing room Role model and faithful servant etc etc rockstar is well ott but on the other hand - - - - Yes Worgan is a great guy but I hope he isn't teaching the kids to be as reckless as he is . He was at fault for the third goal but on reflection he did not cost us any points because we wouldn't have equalised anyway not the way we were plsying

Best entertainment for me was pax at the subs bench shaking hands and putting his coat on. Obviously thought the same as the rest of us, time to go home early.

I thought we were utterly abysmal yesterday.

I actually thought the ref was not bad at all. The reason we lost was primarily due to defensive errors but also our tactics did not give us the best chance to win the game. We play with zero width!! We have shipped out any players that could play wide as well. Everything is down the middle and when that doesn’t work where is plan B? It is early days but I expected us to be much better tactically especially after listening to Harry when he took the job. If Jay was in charge of that performance he would be getting absolute pelters! Which is why I am an advocate of the wing backs and 3 centre half's approach - derided by some on another thread.

Sadly both butlerisalegend and nws are both right (this is a rarity for nws).
We do play without width, trying to play or hoof the ball down the middle, mostly to Cassidy, who is hopelessly isolated.
Turgott may have a more free ranging role but how can the team play exciting, attacking football with just 2 proper forwards on the pitch.
Having full backs attempting to do the work of quality wingers (like Loza) achieves nothing and sacrificing a forward or midfielder for another centre back means we are short of players either in midfield or up front, but seems like both.
Beautiful football it ain't, despite Harry saying we play well in the periods when the team is not gifting goals.
Not looking forward to Tuesday, not expecting much entertaining football, but will be there encouraging and supporting our team.

Would love to go as well and join you in encouraging us to beat the Fleet but alas I cannot afford two away games in a week and Barnet takes priority has I have never been to the Hive before.

Just watched the highlights (couldn't face them last night).
I was still walking back from the pie shop when the first one went in, so this is the first time I've seen it. And at first sight it looks like a total Worgan f**k-up. The guy shoots straight at the goalie, with no real power, and with plenty of time for Worgan to see the shot coming, and yet Worgan barely manages to reach it - he is already going down for the save.
But, if you look at it frame by frame, the ball actually appears to ricochet off the defender (Doyle?). So Worgan goes down for a ground shot, but the ball comes off Doyle and lifts over him. I’ll admit that the video is hardly conclusive, but you can just about see this – and a keeper of Worgan’s ability doesn’t become that poor overnight (whatever some may think on here!).
I did see the second goal (just about!), and at the time I thought Seth had tripped over his own feet. But, again, if you check the slow motion replay, Yussof quite clearly pushes Seth off the ball (which, just like the other million times they did this, the ref fails to spot). Still a cracking goal from Yussof at that angle, but he would never have had the ball if he hadn't cheated.
The third goal is just one of those stupid give-aways that always seem to happen when you're desperately pushing for a goal in the dying minutes of a game and everyone is up the other end. There's only two defenders back, the other side break (from our goal kick!), the defenders fail to get the ball, and Worgan is still mentally up the other end of the pitch trying to will a goal, so he hasn't bothered to get back into his area after the goal kick. An appalling f**k-up, yes, but hardly untypical in those circumstances.
So, not making any excuses for the overall performance, but you could see that game as two very fortunate early goals, down to luck and cheating - from which we almost immediately recovered - not the defensive f**k-up we all thought we saw. Unfortunately, we failed to take advantage of our quick recovery - and that, for me, is the real story of the game. We didn't lose because we can't defend, shit happens sometimes; we lost because we can't score. Over 80 minutes of toil after Blair's reply, and nothing to show for it, apart from Turgott hitting the bar.
And without Turgott, we wouldn't even have had that straw to cling on to.

Definite deflection for the first goal. Saw it from Genco end, with no need for a replay. Pull on Seth not so obvious and he had time to clear it anyway. When you are at the wrong end of the table making your own luck is crucial as none seems to come your way, whichever team you are.

didn't go to the game, I was getting may nails done, however looking at the highlights, Worgan made a couple of good saves in the 25th and 26th Minutes to keep the scoreline down, the 3rd goal was a disaster, though its easy to blame Worgan but was Finney doing?

Maybe some of them should think twice before criticizing the main stand in future. It was embarrassing to see the team applauding the empty Genco stand after the game. I'm not taking sides in the ongoing "Genco vs main stand" debate (thought hard about 'debate' but couldn't think of an adequate alternative) but I have never seen the main stand as empty before the final whistle for a home league match as yesterday.
Seemed to me that people all around the ground wanted to be elsewhere as soon as possible.
Start of the game 2100, final whistle probably about 700/800, mass exodus from all parts of the ground from 80th minute on.

Finneys back header for the third was far to weak, meaning lees two options were: 1) Rush out and try to get to the ball first and clear it 2) Stand where he was and square up to the Solihull forward who would've been bearing down on him one on one.
