I thought we played well today and were unfortunate to lose. Poor refereeing.

Pax had another really good game, Blair should have scored when he hit the bar..Harry cannot be blamed for the awful defending but I am not sure why we keep lumping the ball in the air. We need to give the NEW group of players time to gell because despite yesterday they are still better than what we started the season with.

Another thing about yesterday I didn't really understand, pray tell me did somebody lay a series of really unpleasant farts in the Genco end after about 80 minutes, because that really cleared out before full time. That's really encouraging for the team who had enough trouble anyway dealing with the beasts from the midlands...…..

They pay the money to watch another awful home performance so they are entitled to leave early if they want. If performances at home stay like that then I’m sure the attendances we stay below 2000. That second half was just awful. If the long ball continues to not work then stop doing it and play it on the floor. The whole back 5 or 6 are not comfortable playing out from the back.

A combination of beer, pies and cheesy chips, methinks. Said it before, but really do wonder what some folk turn up for. Joined the queue for a coffee in first half injury time, but still able to see the match, unlike getting on for 100 people who were already under Genco with no view of the game whatsoever - and, regardless of the score, it was a decent first half. Presumably the exodus on 75 mins was a form of protest, but seems to me that around 10% of the crowd in any game have only a peripheral interest in football as they spend a considerable portion of it not watching what is going on on the pitch. Then there was the teenage girl I saw going out at the end of the game, wearing a very short skirt, with blue legs (not tights) and fluffy mule slippers. The mind boggles...

I've always criticised those who leave early, but who can blame people for voting with their feet after watching that rubbish.
With very few exceptions, it's one disappointing spectator experience after another at the moment. Complaining that it upsets the players when the EE is empty at the end of the game is bizarre - it's a loud and clear message to them that they are not doing their job. It's our money that pays their wages, they should be thankful that we turn up at all. All those people being criticised for leaving early have actually paid to be there (and bought their beers and pies, programmes, etc) - would their critics rather they didn't turn up at all?
Personally, I'm amazed that over 2,000 people bother to turn up on a freezing cold day and pay to watch what's being dished up at the moment. If they choose to leave early after that dross, then that's their right. I wonder how many of the early leavers just won't bother turning up next time?

Went on YouTube hoping to find highlights, but not there yet. Instead, watched last year's. We still had Pigott then - scored two, but one disallowed for offside (linesman wrong, of course), plus there was a stonewall penalty not given against Loza. Finished 1-1, after Worgan spilled a shot and nobody but Pigott could convert chances. Only Paxman and Worgan still playing for us from last year's side, bit little else changes it seems. We give away soft goals and the officials are bastards.

As much as I would like to blame the ref for yestersdays debacle I can't. Mr Yianni was as poor to very poor as they always are.
In hindsight we had a good referee vs Orient - a rare occurrence.
But in truth we were poor from minute one.

I actually thought the ref was not bad at all. The reason we lost was primarily due to defensive errors but also our tactics did not give us the best chance to win the game. We play with zero width!! We have shipped out any players that could play wide as well. Everything is down the middle and when that doesn’t work where is plan B? It is early days but I expected us to be much better tactically especially after listening to Harry when he took the job. If Jay was in charge of that performance he would be getting absolute pelters!

I'm not taking sides in the ongoing "Genco vs main stand" debate (thought hard about 'debate' but couldn't think of an adequate alternative) but I have never seen the main stand as empty before the final whistle for a home league match as yesterday.
Seemed to me that people all around the ground wanted to be elsewhere as soon as possible.

Just shows you how eventually you succumb to expectations. The ref was bad very bad.
We were worse.
We have a low Ref IQ - probably the lowest in the league.

I stayed till the end but only because I was with a friend but if he hadn't been there I would have gone to the bar after the third went in.

Just seen the highlights. I knew all the goals we conceded were so bad but watching them again I just can’t believe we defended like that. That 3rd goal what the hell was Worgan doing. He doesn’t need to be there and by doing that cost us having any chance of getting at least a point. He has to be replaced. Hopefully sooner rather than later. I’m sure I read another post earlier saying it was Worgan that cost us 3 points against Solihull last season. How many more mistakes does he have to make before he is replaced. If that was an outfield player then he would of been gone by now.

Worgs will always command support from many of our supporters. And why not ? What is there not to like about the guy ? Excellent keeper coach, brilliant with the youngsters He remains a good shot stopper to be sure. Great character to have in the dressing room Role model and faithful servant etc etc
rockstar is well ott but on the other hand - - - -
