The most meaningful friendlys are the one's played against teams from either the league above or the league below.

Funny how the Palace one turned out - big excitement and a record crowd despite the "let-down" of it just being the U23s... but then we end up signing 2 of them and very good signings they look, too. Have you seen Coker in action?! I hope this season he'll accept that football is a team game, and try passing the ball now and again.

That would be nice.
I do realise you are wary of these young players who climb down a ladder, go along a bit, up another ladder, then take a step sideways...

I'm not so sure. I think we've been too unselfish up front sometimes. One pass too many. Need someone to be greedy and produce something out of nothing.

MILLWALL at home would be fantastic proper club proper fans. Just like the stones On behalf of the residents of Maidstone, particularly those near the ground and pubs, I cannot think of much worse.

I think If Millwall visited we would have to certainly nail down more than a few signs at Maidstone East.

Good grief all you scaredy cats. What exactly do you think Millwall fans would do? They go to Dartford every year without a problem, why not Maidstone?

I'm sure we had a 'friendly' planned against Willwall back in the 80s, but it was cancelled because of the expectation of trouble.
I thought at the time it was an insane 'friendly'!
