So, after all the anticipation on this Forum and in the club house. It would seem that Jay has signed some good? players to keep us in the league again this year - all be it on loan until March in 2 cases. How come there has been no reaction , or at least, some decent discussion on the signings ?? Only reply to Take 2 if you have any serious thoughts please. COYS Probably because the normal culprits can find nothing to criticise ? I was wondering why you had been so quiet Mr.King ?!?. 😉😂😂

Bit of a blow losing WDH, with two games left just need to hope we stay injury free but with Wynter Hare and Finney should have enough

De Havilland had been recalled by Wycombe. Bugger. Really firmed up the heart of our defence, brave and looked like he could have as many goals as Wynter supporting the attack, without giving away OGs and penalties as much. A real loss for now. Maybe could be tempted back next season? If not a big thank you anyway.

I would be tempted to recall Magnus as Wynter was sensational playing in front of the defence and would like him to play there again Saturday!

One more point then the rebuilding will start lessons need to be learnt by not rely to much on other teams players. This time we need a larger squad of around 18/19 and use the loan system the other way around with 24 hour recall from national South clubs.

If this season's experience is anything to go by it looks like the more experienced players are at greater risk of being recalled, with the under 23's being the safer bet.

I would only recall Magnus to be a back up on the bench! He has vast experiance, but is not the player he once was. Twamasi or Hare are capable in a back three, or revert to Finney and Wynter in the middle of a back four and use any one of a number of defensive midfielders to sit in front of them! Attack is the best form of defence as they say 🤪

Surely we should stick with formation from Saturday? Wynter plays that role in front of defence better than anyone else so we should do everything to try and keep him there. Seth and Hare as Central defenders? Really not sure about that.

Shame we didn't see more of Osei Was about to make a joke about not personally having seen him at all, but then I found the story Maidstone United forward Darius Osei in late-night hospital trip before AFC Fylde game.Jay was in hospital with Darius until 1am Saturday morning - "The forward, a January signing from Oldham, has no family down south so Stones boss Jay Saunders took him to hospital." Put's the experience of being a semi-pro player into some context - given some of the 'people' I've worked for the idea of having my boss as the only 'friend or family' to accompany me to hospital is a pretty gruesome thought. I never worked for Jay of course. I hope the Op goes / went well.

But this was actually announced by SL previous to Saturday's game (when they also told us that Tsunami and DSY wouldn't be playing - injury/sickness, can't remember). Always worth a listen pre-game.
