Agreed , but it was a miserable drizzly day, and it's still quite a long haul from Wimbledon.... We're You in a different place? There wasn't a spot of rain all day! It was definitely raining as we left. Although that might be just what it feels like when you see your team let in 4 goals 3 games running!

Well after sleeping off my sore throat an mold headache I just want to say a massive THANK YOU/ to everybody involved in this fantastic club of ours from the owners to the the like minded fans like me, everyone played there part in making yesterday such a fantastic day. We loved every second of it, an event that might never be equaled or bettered, didn,t get upset by the result it was an achievment getting this far, so thanks again every one for making it a brilliant day out.

Quite so, this result may not look so bad in hindsight, as the performance was far better than in the Solihull and BWood matches. You may want to take a scourer to that mould though.....

I really hope and expect that to be equalled and bettered. It would be sad if a trip to Milton Keynes was the pinnacle of this club's history. Better things to come in League, Cup and even Trophy and KSC, I'm sure.

The two division difference showed, I'm afraid. We played well first half, and (I thought) pretty well second half, but the difference was just too great. We went at them in the first half and rattled them, but they came out in the second determined to win, and didn't ease up until they got their goal. Even then they were constantly getting past us, and it was only the usual stunning display from Worgan that kept it as low as 4. It might have been different if we'd converted a few more of our chances, but I seem to have been saying that for at least the last 4 games, if not the whole season. We did ourselves proud though - players and fans. There was a wall of noise from our end most of the game, and you only ever heard the (very few) MKD fans when they scored (and, please God, may we NEVER have goal music!). There were several excellent performances, but my MotM easily goes to Lewis - he was at the centre of everything, constantly pushing forward, winning impossible balls, urging the team on, running himself into the ground and never giving up - fantastic performance. As for the stadium, it is quite simply fantastic - but it was almost empty! Nice stand, shit atmosphere. What it must be like when they are playing a league game without many travelling fans, doesn't bear thinking about. The whole of today's crowd, including over 1,400 of us, could almost have fitted in the JWW! Thanks to Tim, as always for organising the coaches - definitely the best way to travel to games. And he gets a special thanks today for the way he coped with the heart attack we had on our coach (also the ex-nurse supporter who looked after the guy who's collapsed - and I suspect possibly saved his life - and the other supporters who helped him). Put the day nicely into perspective. I hope the guy makes a full recovery, and the supporter who went with him in the ambulance got home OK. Amazing what people can do when they need to. Thanks for your kind words but I only called the ambulance Nigel Tyler and Andy Devlin were the guys who assisted him Sarah Pink was the nurse who indeed may well have saved his life as I believed he stopped breathing for a moment I never cease to be amazed what my friends and fellow supporters are capable of, my thanks to them and Matthew the Brookline driver Things like this put football results into perspective! The guy who went to the hospital with Wayne was Tim Lynch, imusc will be paying for his cab home, it's the sort of thing imusc is here for and the least we can do Also thanks to everyone else on that coach we were held up for 40mims whilst the paramedics did their stuff there wasn't one word of complaint Thanks guys You are being too modest, Tim. Situations like that need someone calm to take charge and sort things out, that's at least as important as the medical side, and that's what you did. I was impressed with the way everyone behaved - there we were, packed onto a coach, on the motorway, in the dark, with a guy practically passed out in the gangway, and possibly at death's door - and no one panicked, everyone just carried on as if everything was under control. And that's largely down to the fact that you took charge and dealt with the situation, efficiently calmly (with one minor exception!) right from the start. A word on the NHS as well - impressive (as nearly always). An ambulance waiting when we got there, and the patient removed from a difficult situation carefully and without fuss. We take this so much for granted, but it really is a wonderful service, even with all its problems. But it's under tremendous strain at the moment, with lack of funds, EU staff going home, not enough doctors and nurses being trained, etc. We need to make sure the NHS is properly funded and supported. Otherwise, if the same thing happens in 10 or 15 years time, there might be a very different outcome.

Ah the minor exception? Would have have when I was asked the coach reg? Having already told them it was an 80ft foot coach green and cream with Brookline in 2ft letters on each side I maybe lost it for a second 'it's a bloody eighty foot coach in green and cream with Brookline in 2ft letters on each side you don't need the reg' Yup, probably could phrased it better!

When I had a crushed vertebrae in my back a few years ago, I was literally screaming in pain. My wife rang 999 and the operator asked to speak to me, my wife held the phone to my ear (I was hanging on to the bathroom sink for dear life) and the operator asked if I could rate the pain from 1-10!! (at the time my wife had to move the phone away every minute or so, as I couldn't stop screaming). I just wish I'd had the presence of mind to say "11"!

Well done Maidstone, you gave it your best shot. No disgrace losing to M.K.Dons, it sounds like you had an eventful day one way and another.....

Did my eyes deceive me or did I see Mr "I won't go to MK Dons because I'm a man of principles who objects to the way that club were formed" NWS at Stadium MK yesterday? Surely I must have been mistaken because a man with such principles wouldn't have gone to the game after venting his spleen on social media - unless he's a two-faced tw@t of course. So the fact that I have already posted on here about the Gillingham v Carlisle game has passed you by. Still that and your apparent sighting of me at MK yesterday does answer the issue with your eyes 1) I find the fact you'd rather give your money to Gillingham, rather than support the team you profess to support, quite sad. 2) Looks like I'm off to Specsavers in the morning then.

Don't be sad. It wasn't my money. Even if it was my money I would not rather give it to Gillingham than Maidstone. However, I would rather give Gillingham money than put a penny into MK. Gillingam is a local rival that has got where it has on its own merits and not fiddled its way there, avoiding promotion. I find it sad that you would support such an anti-football agenda at all.
