In the queue for food at the stadium now, spent ages waiting to get to the front, only for the tills to go down when I did and now had to join a long queue! Still im here now Yes, Ian had the same problem. He wasn’t happy, especially after queueing to be told that the burgers would be another 20minutes!

Football can be a very cruel mistress, if we had only put our chance away in the 1st half and went in 2-0 up, I reckon it would have been a totally different second half, fine margins but have to say enjoyed the day if not the result, the ground was impressive but what a shame it never gets full, back to the league next week and we can hopefully put this behind us and kick on once again.....COYMFS

The two division difference showed, I'm afraid. We played well first half, and (I thought) pretty well second half, but the difference was just too great. We went at them in the first half and rattled them, but they came out in the second determined to win, and didn't ease up until they got their goal. Even then they were constantly getting past us, and it was only the usual stunning display from Worgan that kept it as low as 4. It might have been different if we'd converted a few more of our chances, but I seem to have been saying that for at least the last 4 games, if not the whole season.
We did ourselves proud though - players and fans. There was a wall of noise from our end most of the game, and you only ever heard the (very few) MKD fans when they scored (and, please God, may we NEVER have goal music!). There were several excellent performances, but my MotM easily goes to Lewis - he was at the centre of everything, constantly pushing forward, winning impossible balls, urging the team on, running himself into the ground and never giving up - fantastic performance.
As for the stadium, it is quite simply fantastic - but it was almost empty! Nice ground, shit atmosphere. What it must be like when they are playing a league game without many travelling fans, doesn't bear thinking about. The whole of today's crowd, including over 1,400 of us, could almost have fitted in the JWW!
Thanks to Tim, as always for organising the coaches - definitely the best way to travel to games. And he gets a special thanks today for the way he coped with the heart attack we had on our coach (also the ex-nurse supporter who looked after the guy who's collapsed - and I suspect possibly saved his life - and the other supporters who helped him). Put the day nicely into perspective. I hope the guy makes a full recovery, and the supporter who went with him in the ambulance got home OK.
Amazing what people can do when they need to.

But today also emphasised a couple of major problems we've got at the moment, and which need sorting out if we are to do well in the league and (just for once!) in the Trophy: defending, and converting our chances.
Today was tough, and there was no shame in losing, even 1-4. But the fact remains that this was the third game in a row when Worgan had to pick the ball out of the net FOUR times. Even against L1 opposition, our defence needs to be better than that.
And up-front, we just can't score. Only two goals in four games, and our last goal from a forward was 359 minutes ago. That's 6 hours without one of our 'goal scorers' actually scoring a goal.

Well at least around 1500 Stones supporters had a very enjoyable day out. The team played so well for 45 minutes, matched MK Dons all over the park. Fully deserved to lead at the break. But anything less than 100% performance was always going to prove costly and so it proved. Hardly outplayed in the second half but suddenly goalscoring looked easy for the opposition when faced with one on one positions against defenders. Some classy finishing to be sure. Felt Piggot had a very decent match up front again, suported by DSY. Hines still looks a shade off the pace along with Loza. Stuart Lewis and the boys in midfield held their own for much of the game. Not easy to comment on the second half defensive frailties given the distance away from the Stones support, but the goals did seem to be down to individual errors. The stadium was mouth watering but home support was shocking

Without Worgs, today's second half could have ended up in the Guinness Book of Records...

Their stewards made me laugh! First they tell you to sit down, which you do, then they say" if you are sitting down, you will be better off moving down a few rows" , which you do...only to find people standing up in front of you!

Amazing what people can do when they need to. Obviously I can only reiterate those words of thanks and support to everyone that helped and I hope a full and speedy recovery is made. I'm waiting to get any update I can on this at present.

They let us down 2nd half that’s all I’ve got to say... Not let down at all. That is the big difference shown today between where we are and the "bigger" teams in L1. Didn't finish the game when briefly had chance to do so (bit like Bruno lol). And we didn't have the staying power. Got undone. Hereford held for the draw havinG been ahead at Fleetwood. They wouldn't have at mk for example. Proud as proud can be of my hometown team today. She wore, she wore....

Yup, shit happens and you just have to move on. Lost to Australia in RL, getting ground into the dust by same at cricket. No doubt Arsenal fans are pretty pissed at losing to José again, etc, etc. We have had many fine days in recent years and no doubt will do again. At least it wasn't for want of trying, though bet top of Worgs wish list at the moment is a clean sheet.
