But we are still 8th and 4 points off top spot Macclesfield are now top and we thrashed them a few weeks ago Not one team in this league has shown any consistency yet. You go top and then lose your next game We had an off day, Bromley had a game plan that frustrated but worked We are in a far better position than we were last season The mass exodus from the main stand was to say the least embarrassing, considering the effort put in by the lads on the pitch We still have more points than most of the big money teams Roll on Saturday when the boys bounce back Agree it started before the second goal and then grew at 0-2 whilst it's a free country people are quite frankly plastic and fair weather supporters. May set up a prawn sandwich stand by the gate What about the mass exodus from the genco stand, riverside and town ends or do you only see what you want (like a number of other fans). Ok the performance wasn't great and we (players and fans) got sucked in by letting our frustration get the better of us creating a hostile atmosphere for our own players. There were large numbers of our fans on the right hand side of the genco stand who spoke so much **** about our players from the 1st minute until either the 94th or when they walked out, to those people I say either shut up and stop getting on the players back or **** off. I got no problems with fans shouting out unlucky Joe keep going it will come, although the so called fans around me decide to vilify our own players what incentive does that give them to perform for us. I'm seriously thinking about giving up my season ticket and only go to the away games, as at least then I wont be surrounded by complete ****wits. As for the referee there was a couple of decisions that were poor but to be fair to him he got the big ones right. The handball cry when Dunne challenged Zavon wouldn't have been given in a million years. The challenge when Lewis and one of their players needed treatment was always going to be a free kick to them as Lewis led with his studs, we were never going to get a free kick there. Bromley had a game plan and it worked, they tucked us up hook line and sinker and walked away with the three points.

As toonarmy says "we have a right to be disappointed" sad to see our midfield second best for much of the match but why should any fan with half a brain cell have a go at Joe Pigott who worked hard and was by far and away our best attacking threat felt sorry for Magnus with the first goal as his performance over 90 minutes was pretty decent matches like this make you think we can still miss DSY as a useful option, let alone JL but the lack of creativity in midfield was a bit painful at times, suspect there will be a change for Saturday

What a dreadful game. The only good thing to come out of tonight was the news that Loza is back in training and could be available for the FA Cup game.

Bromley had a game plan that was exactly the same as the 2 matches against us last season. We should have known what was coming. I bet they wish they could play us every week.

We've been sussed out (it won't only be Bromley), and we don't appear to have a plan B (again).
I've had a shit few days and was really looking forward to tonight. You'd think I'd learn...
As for fans leaving early - when the exodus from the Granddad Stand started, I remembered this perennial 'discussion' and glanced round the ground. What did I see? The TE half empty already, the sides thinning out rapidly, and fans streaming out of the EE. The GS is the most noticeable, and, with that ruddy tunnel, those fans have the most incentive to leave early, but the truth is, if you dish up shite, fans leave early - from wherever they happened to be sitting/standing.

Looks like I dodged a bullet not being able to go tonight.
I was stunned checking the updates Wraight came on. Must be really scraping The barrel stuff for that to happen, Willard should of kept his place instead of being loaned out, he looked the far better player. Wraight was dubbed as Flishers replacement...not fit to lace his boots.

Apologises as post a tad misleading I replied to a commmet about the main stand exodus but actually was referring to the ground exodus as you point out. Whilst fans who pay can voice there opinion with their feet I just think it's wholly wrong. And in terms of criticism that is a difficult one, we are paying fans and fair to say the players put the max in on the whole but I do feel complacency set on last night. And the ref for me wasn't good one of the worst I've seen but that did not account for all our performance and result

Absolutely foul performance, but weren't Bromley amongst the most dire cheating c@&!ish sides we've seen for a while. If the game plan is to go out and wind up the oppo's best player & get him booked etc. that's really great. Hasn't English football come on a long way, no wonder we're rubbish as a nation at soccer. I'd love to see that Bromley side transported back 15 years in time & play Kray Wanderer or VCD, they would really be rolling around on the floor then...............

Bromley played a blinder in terms of game management. Closed down our players, got Zav subbed, scored two goals, kept a clean sheet. We were tired, our first touch was poor, we lacked creativity. One of those nights. Not good but this league is crazy...four points off the top.

If you fall over & roll around a lot you must have been fouled badly - absolute tripe........

Bromley had a game plan that worked. From the off you could see, crowded out Hines and pigott with them being covered by two players most of the time. They were looking to play on the break, or get a goal from a set piece, they got both. We didn't get the ball wide and put crosses in the box, if we had we might have got something. Never mind, I'm sure we will face a similar team set up against guiseley Saturday. We go again

Bromley neutralised Hines and cut off service to Piggott. We barely bothered them first half. Can't really blame the ref when both sides are looking for free kicks. Might have had a goal with a bit of luck in the second half, but it wasn't to be. Segregation means both stands have to take the visible walk of shame, so no more sneaking out the sides of the Town End.

Disappointing but Bromley worked hard and knew what they were doing - as mentioned above, crowd out ZH and JP, and with SL and JR both, I thought, having an off-night there wasn't a lot of threat. ZH going off didn't surprise me as he looked like a second yellow wasn't far behind the first. Not sure why anyone has a go at JP - he works hard off the ball, is intelligent in his use of it most of the time but there's very little he can do when he doesn't receive any service.
First half was a non-event, a bit of luck with their goal but no real threat. A little better in the second and actually thought it seemed to work better with Wraight as at least we got the ball wide and were trying to get it in; on the left, far too slow in moving the ball to JR and then kept coming inside all the time. Thought we missed DSY - he's ungainly but strong and puts himself about, while JTH got knocked off the ball quite easily on more than one occasion. No reason to believe that others won't have seen what Bromley did and do the same, so emphasis on trying to counteract this. Guiseley should be interesting - I think they came last year in much the same trouble but came back from a goal down at half time and could have won it.

Standing next to a pitch at Swadelands last night coaching 13 year olds and freezing my t!ts off now sounds like an escape given the comments on here. I clearly cannot comment on the performance and at best it sounded abject but at the beginning of the season I would suggest most of us would've taken this position. Yes we have players still finding their way, and to a degree so is Jay, but wake up and smell the coffee people, things aren't all bad. We go again on Saturday when I would suggest we might see some changes. 3 points will make us all feel better.
