Last game of the season. Another big away support? (I have no clue how many tickets they have sold). Hopefully, it will be like last night when the Imps fans were great fun. We shall see if Tranmere can come and make noise and be a good laugh as well. They seemed an OK bunch up there so should be one to look forward to.
I would really like to say that I am willing Maidstone to win this one to sign off in style but I fear that may be seen as unnecessary input into Jay's plans and the result that occurs will be down to my organisation of things through this post as opposed to the spontaneous actions of playing staff on the respective teams. As such, I cannot say such a thing* and will simply look forward to being there if I can.
*I'm hoping I can if Mr Farage will intervene and rid us of our shackling DU regulations around what we can and can't say and do.

I don`t think we will be bringing down as many as you think. A lot of our fans who have got tickets might not use them (there are fans on our various sites and FB trying to sell them on etc) as there is a far more important game with more long distance travel on Wednesday night at, probably, Aldershot and most of our travelling support will be heading there instead. Also we expect Mickie to shuffle the pack and make quite a few changes in the team, he has hinted that much, therefore resting the likes of Norwood, Connor Jennings and possibly Jeff Hughes (who has look extremely leggy of late). We have a long list of injuries (3 ACLs, 2 double leg fractures and a severe achilles injury) putting 6 players, 4 of whom are starters most weeks (including Ben Tollitt quite possibly the best young player in the League) out for the season so I don`t think he will be risked many in what is a "dead rubber".

I think only the diehard away fans will turn up. If we're going to get past 3,000 again, we're going to be depending mostly on occasional home fans celebrating the 'great escape' (which, of course, didn't happen...).

If the Tranmere tickets have been sold, do they count whether or not used, like season tickets?

Depends on the VAT treatment of those tickets....

We are defiantly underselling these big games because of the tickets.

Did all bar two of Lincoln's fans really turn up?
Really hope playing on a Saturday will bring out a record home crowd for the last home game.

If (when) Tranmere score on Saturday, the only club to have played * & NOT scored at the Gallagher Stadium this season will have been - Lincoln City [Boreham Wood having done so in the FA Trophy] * in a men's 1st team match

If the Tranmere tickets have been sold, do they count whether or not used, like season tickets? That's a bloody good question. Was the 3,014 'attendance' the number of tickets sold (including ST holders not present and Lincoln tickets not used), or the actual number of people in the ground? Although, having asked that question, I suppose the answer is obvious! Comparing with the recent 2,800+ gates, it certainly didn't seem like there were 200 or so more people in the ground. (Although admittedly it is very hard to get a feel for the crowd size with the new stand, as it looks full when still half empty!)

The new stand was definitely more packed along the whole length last night than previous games.

If the tickets are sold then that counts to the official attendance whether they come or not.

I think we would have got a full house for the Lincoln game had it not been all ticket. People who had no ticket were asking around the pubs before the game if anyone had a spare ticket.

Quite a few of the tickets have been returned to our ticket office though, so I imagine they won't count. I've got tickets in the high 500s but I think there will be 400 of us (complete guess... there may just be 10 of us!).
I've actually got a spare ticket (which I haven't been able to return) so if anyone wants to stand in the away end with us...!

It will make no difference how many fans you bring with you, and I for one would fully understand if your manager rested a lot of your first team players for the play off,s but let,s just all have a damn good game an try an equal the atmosphere that was at the game on Tuesday, and I reckon we might just sneak a cheeky 1-0 win.

Our second string are still a good side, so it will definitely be a good game. We (as fans) love the last game of the season and we have a fairly hardcore set of fans who have been to the final game of the season for XX years. This year they were in jeopardy of missing out until we lost to FGR at home (and Lincoln kept winning!).
I'd be amazed if we see Cook & Norwood on the pitch (our front 2).
