I really don't think this is the last we seen of him in a Stones shirt. With his contract up in the summer, i wouldn't be surprised if Jay has spoke to him about coming back next season. Just look at his reaction to the standing ovation & chants at the end of the game....you could tell he doesn't wanna leave. We all stand united in wanting Delano to comeback and signed for us in the Summer , but I have a sneaky feeling that Gary Hill , his former manager at Woking and now the new manager of an Essex club , bankrolled by a deluded orange skin man , with a bit of dosh to splash , will be in touch with Woking to try to get him to play for them on loan till the end of the season. Let's face it , Woking didn't want to extend his loan to us , and furthermore , might not necessarily play him either !!. Thank you Delano Samuel York , Maidstone loves you more than you'll ever know ! ... You will always be remembered with great admiration ... So take your time over from now till the end of the season and think how it would be better to play for a club that appreciate you and in front of a possible 4000+ crowd next year when this will be our new capacity !!.

I bet if they do extend it they put in a clause preventing him playing against them. Still be worth having him back. And I think that would backfire anyway - the players would really be up for proving a point to Woking.

Can anyone recall a loan player at any club at any level receiving such a send off? Quite a moment in the cynical world of football. Quite emotional. I think it would happen more often, but unfortunately in most cases you never know it's their final game.

He'll be Mr Popular - manage your team into a relegation fight, loan one of your best players to your rivals, and then piss off at the 11th hour because Mr Moneybags is offering you shit loads of money to go and play manager at Orlando Billericay in the Essex Soccer League...

Delano aint going to Billericay. They already got 4-5 forwards signed to 2 year contracts.
Also why would he wanna follow Garry Hill to ricay?? If he really rated him he wouldnt of loaned him out.
More chance of him rejoining us than going to Billericay.

Think you will find that Garry Hill was supposed to be at Bill n Ricay at exactly the same time he was actually travelling with the Woking squad he manages, so Cardsboard is certainly not worried about losing him

Konchesky played and Bricknell scored - which must have been a rare treat for both of them.

Once Woking's relegation is a mathematical certainty, maybe the Cards will let him come back for the last 2 or 3 games
