What a fantastic performance we clearly set up like we do away and it worked it really suited us with two banks of four and lots of room to break into . We matched them everyone had great games and we were so so close I was gutted in the end football can be so cruel. My motm was Twumasi outstanding.

Yep, really pleased with the performance of the lads today Players did the business all over the pitch. No passengers. Twumasi was outstanding, but still felt Paxman shaded it for MoM

Fantastic effort from the team, 10 out of 10 and fully deserved a win.
Reading the game positioning effort and attacking and defensive play brilliant.
Brilliant crowd support on the whole.
The ref was a wa*ker pure and simple; biased, no protection to Loza flisher in particular who were continuously impeded.
Clearly can't see that when you get the ball it's not a foul
For a league one team they were outplayed and used dirty tricks.
Ref fell for it all so I hope MUFC refer the whole thing to the FA for review.
We tired at the end that much was clear and when you tire mistakes creep in.
Our boys will be up at 6 no doubt to do a days work tomorrow the Rochdale puffs will no doubt be waxing their legs and chests.

Great performance by the lads today despite being gutted at the last minute equaliser but seriously where did that extra tine come from ? The game should have been over before that 2nd free kick. Great noise from town end today too.

Roughly how many did Rochdale bring?
Gutted I missed it but think seeing that equaliser go in in real time would have ruined my year...

I think the Rochdale support was quoted at around 175.
For me there were times we were stretched but we were never outclassed. The only thing resembling League 1 quality was their last kick of the game - very good strike. Otherwise we matched them. On the BBC website it says the free kick was deflected, so whether it brushed off Flish (he looked closest to the end of the wall) or not I can't tell from the highlights.

Absolutely gutted with that. Also a completely pathetic way to get a red card. players know the officials are getting harder with that kind of stuff so why bloody do it.

If all they brought was roughly 175-200 surely we can at least double that an help cheer the boys on in the replay

Not impressed by the MoTD2 pundits. So, they don't like 3G pitches, but accept they are significant money spinners. Not the best attitude when so much money goes to the top clubs, plus the sugar daddy syndrome in the lower leagues. Would have been nice to have recognised Stones business model of self sufficiency a bit more. Then the last minute free kick. Hardly a given, as their player simply ran into our defenders and got what the ref had been giving most of the game. Worgs was wrong footed, but was there a deflection? Never mind, for now at least, in the eyes of punditory MU not quite good enough, so the world can leave all our players and manager alone to get on with the test of the season. Ref still a fuckwit though.

The ref's face when he left the pitch said it all , he was guilty of the bias he showed towards Rochdale. When they scored their undeserved equiliser ... I thought that he wanted to celebrate with them. Pathetic support from their fans and I doubt that they will have more fans at their place for the replay. Totally cheated by what was meant to be professional players , from the off they tried their dirty tactics and that ref let them off, but when we made the slightest challenge we got punished by some ridiculous free kicks their way. Great performance from our players , Tsunami was awesome as was Loza ; we can see that they are a class above our best players but so glad that we have them playing for us at the moment. Great support from our fans , the Town End was rocking and full of singing !. It will be a very hard game back at their place but if we can get more support going up there, we can show them that we are not afraid of them. Well done Maidstone United, proud to be a fan. I think that the attendance was much higher than mentioned!

175 is pathetic from Rochdale. Not really They only average just over 3000 at home Its a 500 mile round trip for a ''early'' Sunday kick off Poor Sunday public transport Not exactly a glamour tie for them So its no surprise they didn't bring loads, if this was a Saturday game i bet Rochdale would of brought quite a few more
