Gutted to feel disappointed after such a good performance. Special effort against a good side who didn't look two leagues above us. Top effort by each & everyone of the boys, Flish especially good in the air, Loza pace to burn. Ach's sending off, presumably dissent ( the 'C' word ? ).

Bugger. Last kick of the match and then get home to see ACH was sent off after the final whistle. Poor ref (again), ignoring constant pushing and holding from Rochdale, yet punishing Stones players for questioning his fuckwittery. Good job the linesman on the riverside was alert though. Really good display from Stones - made Rochdale look pretty ordinary by keeping things simple and staying alert. Much more hope for games against full time teams after the last two displays, methinks. Loza magic again, defense solid, especially Twumasi, but maybe BJT just about shaded motm for his all round efforts. A shame Paxman is so shot shy, really should have had a go several times in the second half. Pretty good summary. Tsunami was my MotM, but they all played well - Rochdale were a bit quicker and more decisive, but there really wasn't much between the two teams, a draw would probably be seen by neutrals as a fair result. But that 'free kick' looked like a dive to me (it was pretty much in front of us) - be interesting to see how it looks on the highlights. Only negative is that I would like to have seen Yemi on earlier, E-M seemed to have faded out of the game some time before the sub. Yemi had an immediate impact, had he been on longer we could have got that badly needed (and deserved) second goal. Mind you, if Loza had stayed on, we might have got a second too. I assume he was injured? I saw him on the pitch, apparently getting help with cramp, but I didn't see the actual incident, so I have no idea what happened to him. Crowd were quieter today, which was odd, considering it was a Cup match. Town End (and the other end in the first half) were good, but not quite up to the last home game's standard. All in all, and oddly, it didn't really feel like a Cup game - maybe that just demonstrates what a step up the National is? Was that Mill's 5th yellow? (And what the hell was it for?!) That and the silly red could cost us dearly.

So heart breaking to concede the way we did, but hopefully we hold our heads up and congratulate ourselves for a good result and go up to Rochdale with confidence and determination.
On a sidenote, so many Gills fans piping up about it on Twitter. What a sad lot they are.

I imagine he was protesting against the free-kick/dive? Still a silly thing to do though. Rochdale looked no better than an average-good National side (FGR, Eastleigh, etc would have murdered them). If that's a good L1 side, we have nothing to fear from FL football.

Wasn't a straight red at end - flashed yellow then red for what it's worth. Assume dissent. Dunno if it was for Lock or Ach though.

Well looks like it,s going to be a cold old night in Rochdale for the replay, personally I felt we pretty much matched them across the park today, for me Tsunami was my MOTM but on a lighter note I will have 3 seats up for grabs in my car for the replay if anyone,s interested.

But he was still on the pitch afterwards - do you have to eave the pitch if the game's over?? Either way, we can't afford to lose defenders for silly things like that, especially if Mills is on 5 yellows now.

Where were you today the crowd were immense and Credit to the town end who sang their hearts out, mind you the rest of the ground were all in very good voice, in regards to the referee I thought he was very good especially for the first 80 minutes when he gave us everything, however in the last 10 minutes he gave everything to Rochdale, never left a game feeling so gutted with a draw

Looked a definite free kick to me, but even if it's not you ain't gonna change the refs mind so getting a card for dissent is frankly ludicrous. Gutted to concede with the last kick of the match. Thought we were the better side throughout and deserved to win. Loza and Flish dominated their back four all game and Paxman was as good as I've seen him. The free kick at the end was only their second shot on target. Hard to choose between Flish and Loza for MOTM, but a good all round team performance.

I thought it was better, but football is always about opinions

Just walked in a feel like we've bloody lost. We deserved the win but we look so leggy in the last 15 minutes, Flish and Loz ran their hearts out as did many others but in reality we gave away 2 silly free kicks and let Rochdale off the hook. Sweeney struggled to get into the game, apart from giving away one of the late free kicks. Enver-Marum should've put the game out of sight but shot woefully wide when he should've at least hit the target. Yes, the ref was poor and we could've had a second penalty for handball but we should've killed the game off and we didn't. Millsy gave his all but he had been warned so many times before he got his 5th yellow so yes another ban. Frustrated to say the least but sorry to say we only have ourselves to blame, I didn't count many actual clear cut shots on target for either team. We go again though, dudt ourselves down and push on. Fans superb again today.
