Looks like we wont be playing Aldershot next season. Not really sure what suspended means. It doesn't sound permanent. I would have thought expelled would have been a better form of words if that is indeed the case. At least it would be clear and Aldershot would know exactly where they stand.

I think this allows an appeal to be raised by Gateshead, if the appeal fails and they go down will Truro be reprieved as well

Do clubs who consistently fail to pay the taxman and players get one of these licence thingies?

Another impressive signing from Havant. Deacon impressed during Sutton’s live FA cup game against Arsenal, which lead to his move to the Scottish Premier, however a fall from that to the NLS in a year shows he may not be quite that Big a threat! We dealt with him against Stevenage in the FA cup at home back in he day with a then 17 year old Aaron Simpson at right back. As has already been said H&W should be up there but by no means champions by Christmas

So, this is how it now looks (assuming Gateshead survive):
1 Leyton Orient 89 C 2 Solihull Moors 86 3 Salford City 85 P 4 Wrexham 84 5 Fylde 81 6 Harrogate Town 74 7 Eastleigh 74 8 Ebbsfleet United 67 9 Sutton United 65 10 Barrow 64 11 Bromley 60 12 Barnet 60 13 Dover Athletic 60 14 Chesterfield 59 15 Halifax Town 59 16 Hartlepool United 59 17 Gateshead 57 (9 points deducted) 18 Dagenham & Redbridge 56 19 Maidenhead United 54 20 Boreham Wood 52 21 Aldershot Town 44 R 22 Havant & Waterlooville 40 R 23 Braintree Town 38 R (3 points deducted) 24 Maidstone United 34 R
Unless you're the ever reliable Football Web Pages, where none of this has actually happened...

Glad to hear it ,why should Aldershot get a reprieve for being awful failures. Gateshead deserve their place and I for one hope they keep it

Am I the only one getting an ad ehen I click on Dave's link? I found the story myself and copied the link: www.thenonleaguefootballpaper.com/latest-news/27091/gateshead-takeover-to-finally-be-completed/But I STILL get an ad when I click on it! Anyway, that aside, good news from Gateshead - two fans rescuing their club - we can't complain about that! I can't see them doing well in the NL, but at least they'll get the chance, and not be replaced by a club that deserved relegation.

Sound promising for the Heed, I hope it works out for them. I wonder where they will play, though, to stay in NL, as I thought that was one of the key issues they faced?

I hope Gateshead keep their place, on condition they live within their income.
