Am I the only one getting an ad ehen I click on Dave's link? I found the story myself and copied the link: www.thenonleaguefootballpaper.com/latest-news/27091/gateshead-takeover-to-finally-be-completed/But I STILL get an ad when I click on it! Anyway, that aside, good news from Gateshead - two fans rescuing their club - we can't complain about that! I can't see them doing well in the NL, but at least they'll get the chance, and not be replaced by a club that deserved relegation. Cut and paste the link into the web address line. This overcomes the irritation

Darts old boy. Good signing for them. In their current list the one I don't get is Greenhalgh, but they must like him!

Not NL anymore but it’s bad news about Justin Edinburgh.
No update but sending good wishes and the hope for some positive news.

Wor Danny in Gateshead says that the local media are saying that the takeover of the club will not save their demotion to the National league North and they will be replaced by Aldershot. The likelihood is that Oxford or Gloucester will revert back to the South and no reprieve for Truro.

Nice little ground, friendly supporters - just not enough of them to make a decent NLS level attendance - sadly, due to sharing a small city with an EFL club.

Whilst I appreciate Wor Danny is well placed re Heed gossip, how does he know what the NL will or won't do?

If Gateshead are kicked out they won't be going into the National North, they will be going into the Northern Premier.

When they kicked out Hereford and Salisbury a couple of years back they had to drop at least 2 levels.

Just making assumptions based on what happens to phoenix clubs whereas the heed are still the same club. Hereford were put into the Southern Premier after being kicked out. They weren't a phoenix club, they lasted another 5-6 months before going belly up and starting again as a new club the season after in the Midlands league.
