Plaque on a wall is a little different to a Hall of Fame possibly Oxford ? But there were a few on that thread. Here are a couple players who occurred to me :- Fred Baker - who played over 380 games for The Stones. David Sadler - local boy ( well Yalding !) who went on to play for Man U and England.

You guessed right NWS - sorry a bit out of your league on ' Stones History ' I guess for you ?? But then I always knew that you were one of the ' Newbies ' !!!
No worries though ' The Hall of Fame ' beckons - at least according to one of your 'fans'. COYS

Whoo there Lesley. I scored the goal that kept the Yalding pub (above which young Mr Sadler lived) in a division one year. I didn't merely watch the man from the terrace. I followed in his footsteps....well apart from playing for Maidstone, Man U and England. However, I will be pleased to take my place in the hall of fame

If you can name the pub, the league they played in, David's sister's name and the name of Oast House where she lived ( she was cute ) I'll seconded you for ' The Hall of Fame '.
' How's That' ? I think you maybe getting confused with the East Farleigh days down at The Chequers though NWS ?

There was a rumour going around at my school that Scott had nut megged Marlon King- would he have played in that friendly??
Yes he did play. Having ruminated about this, two other random thoughts about the March 2002 game against The Gills: * Went to the game with a group of people including a Gillingham fan who referred to Marlon King in hushed respectful terms as if he was Christ reborn or The Prophet come amongst us one more time. Sorry, he's was none of those things but just Marlon ****ing King........... ** The legend that was Terry Cordice enhanced his reputation even more by delivering a block tackle on Andy Hessenthaler that shook the Stadium, indeed probably even moved the Isle of Sheppey a few metres further out into the Thames. Happy Days.

I've played and managed at the Gallagher and been a treasurer. Does that count?

Bill Williams has played, managed (on more than 1 occasion) and is now a director that's a great treble in my book. I've played and managed at the Gallagher and been a treasurer. Does that count? Ive had sex in the main stand. Not when there was a game on like. I like to think it was DaveUs seat.
