There were two players on the line, therefore not offside.

There were two players on the line, therefore not offside. Disagree, their no 2 was certainly on the line, the only player who could have played him onside was their no 9 and to me Frannie was closer (just) to the goal line than him when the ball was headed forward. It is a lot closer than I first thought though, and another day it would have been given.

Frannie does look offside and for the may penalty incident that looks correct,it appears to me that may kicked the player whilst trying to shoot and you could make a case for frannies goal to be disallowed...foot up studs showing whilst challenging the keeper

Come on blow the whistle.

Cos the linesman was no better than the referee. In fact neither linesman was up to much, neither of them spotted the keeper at least a yard outside the box virtually every time he kicked the ball out of his hands. If you're so good at being an official you should be doing the job!

There are plenty of older and less fit lino's than you about! Who can remember the guy down at Hythe in the Kent League? He must have been pushing 90 and took 10mins to get to the corner flag from half way? Oh and anyone who has watched Sunday morning football will testify that some of the refs there make Trolley look quick!

So have I, and run a league, and I still know nothing - at least that's what Tim is always telling me!

So have I, and run a league, and I still know nothing - at least that's what Tim is always telling me! What would tim know? He's just a concrete designer. "i'll put this bit of shingle with this bit of sand....then I'll put a bit of cement in there....then I'll add some water.....then some fibres so they'll think I know what I'm doing". Please.

I think Tim has made up a title for being a shoveller. Surely he knows that someone designed concrete years ago

Concrete design as simple as those that shovel it! Now Asphalt is another matter! Anyone with a couple of years to spare I'll run you through it!
