They're an impressive club. And I'm pretty sure they only had a couple of dozen fans at the game, so credit to them for the noise they made. Odd bunch though - while we were queuing up (for over TEN minutes!) for chips, they were having a fairly heated discussion on the Labour party and its role in the Scottish referendum debate! Yes pretty odd to discuss the Scottish referendum now - only football topics should be discussed at football grounds.

Just been watching the Stones TV highlights and the match looks as good as I remember from Tuesday. I agree with others who say this is probably our best performance at the Gallagher. Frannie's goal is pure class, but the whole team were excellent.

Agree that the Team were great - the attendance good. The vibe was wow and the players were excellent in the second half. My friend was very impressed.

Just been watching the highlights. So their first half effort which hits the bar. Lovely end to end move with the ball on the deck. Obviously the 3G surface to blame for that??? Every two weeks we see at least one move where the away team suss that actually the pitch favours skilled passing teams. Second point from watching the clip. That Frannie Collin is rubbish. Let's loan him out to Hythe or Tonbridge. I'm making a rare trip down this weekend so see you on Saturday those that know me....

Will you not see anyone who doesn't know you then? Another graduate of the NWS School of Pedantry! I'll probably see about 1500 people and recognise about 50. Someone I don't recognise will say "all right Oxford?" Someone else will sidle up to me and say I owe them a fiver for a dodgy DVD...

We will be in the Hare from 1ish Huw Is the Hoopy top coming out for the day? The hoopy top I swore to abandon when we got out of the KL - and did! I'd forgotten about it. I don't think it survived the move to Abingdon last year. It'll be the retro top if cool, or Div 1(S) 1st time round top if warm. Driving down with S Oxon Stone BTW The Real "Oxford Stone" is now Jamie Barber (the man behind the virtual stadium) - he lives in Headington. Saw him at a rather good little beer festival last Friday. He's even working for a company I used to be at.
