I don't think the singing and chanting is a problem, I don't find any of it offensive. And if you take children to any football match they are going to hear bad language.
Having no seating is a big problem, I've a relative who would love to come....but can't as I can't guarantee her a seat and she needs one :-(

I think seating arrangements will need to improve as the site lines are difficult for children younger than 12 years of age. Also some of the foul language from the town end stand could be deterring people with young families from attending our matches. Yes some of the language could be a reason but dont keep blaming the town end for everything it only stirs up them and us problems again thank you It took me 1hr45 to get home today and it was the town ends fault. The town end is a bit like tottingham...no one likes them.

But it seems to me that most of the songs or chants of late are simply vile abuse of our hosts or visitors which feels a bit embarrassing at times.

I stood in the Town End for the entirety of the game yesterday and can't say I was particularly offended. I heard plenty of swearwords but then I was at football not church and it would not have been audible had I chosen to move to another less sweary part of the ground. Like I have said before I have moved on two occasions because of things being said that I object to and one of those times was at the Library End! Most of the songs/chanting was pro-Stones. TBH if people don't like what is being sung then it can easily be changed. When I don't like it I will start up different songs. I refused my 'kind invitation' to start a song yesterday.
I recognise that this is a horses for courses debate though because there are the puritans that would have no swearing, the lunatics who would have no non-swearing and the rest of us at varying degrees in the middle.
I do object to vile abuse of other supporters or players but the stuff being said to their goalie was pretty good-natured and he was enjoying playing along with it. The beer throwing type behaviour that occurs every so often does need to stop.

I would like, Pezza, Roysty or Phil to tell me what they propose to do by way of recompense for my immense disappointment. It's not good enough.
