The point that most on here seem to be missing is anyone now 61,62,63,64, that did previously buy a season ticket at the lower rate have now got to pay much more how can the club take away what had previously been given, A very poor way to treat loyal supporters ! And anyone paying on the gate in the 61/64 group have a 30% increase !! Perhaps you could explain why the 60-64 age group have been/deserve to be getting in cheaper than everyone else?

I thought Oliver said on Twitter that the club were looking to introduce a debenture seat scheme for supporters to buy a season ticket for an agreed term, is this not happening now

To be honest the age group as a whole have done well for themselves. This whining is not merited.

Perhaps you could explain why the 60-64 age group have been/deserve to be getting in cheaper than everyone else? Why do you need that explained !! Quite obviously its because I can see no reason why non retirement age supporters should be getting in cheaper or why they have been. They should, between 60-64, have far less outgoings than the rest of us do that are beneath that age yet while they have enjoyed a cheaper rate the rest of us struggling with kids and mortgages still pay the normal rate. Frankly there is no reason why they should get it cheaper and stating they should continue to do so is nonsense as when the normal £10 goes up you can hardly say "Well we have had it this price for this long so we shouldnt pay anymore" Really what you should be saying is "Well we have had a right result until now!"

Could always watch Tonbridge they are looking to boost gates not sure what thier concession rate is. Still I would rather pay a tenner to watch the stones than a fortune to watch Chelsea park the bus.

Raising the concession rate to 65 will make us (possibly) the only club at our level to do it How much extra revenue will targeting the 60-65 group actually yield? It will be very difficult to police, and I'd suggest anyone saying 'concession' at the turnstiles would be let in without proof The only supporters that this will affect will be season ticket holders, who have probably been our longest and most loyal fans! If revenues need increasing when surely it'll be more effective to just increase the Adult and Concession to £11 and £8 And why would anyone want to go and watch another team just because you aren't happy with something minor at your own club? For the record I'm not a concession and a few years off it!

Half the clubs at our level charge kids 2quid. Surely kids for a quid wouldn't discourage them here?
With regards to ID, as Tim says will it be "policed". If so,they could - at the same time - " police" the amount of 17-18 year olds who get in as discounted "kids".

For the record I'm not a concession and a few years off it! I dont see it will increase the revenue particularly nor do I think the club are doing anything other than bring those supporters that should not have reduced entry into line with everyone else. I firmly agree with free entry to the under 12 as it allows families to come easily and gets the next generations of supporters on board. I expected the entry fee for normal non concession to go up next season regardless of promotion or not and its a credit to the club they have been able this time to avoid this. Personally I have no problem if the price of general entry was to increase however I see no reason why an increase for under 60's should subsidise a freeze on 60-64. There is no reason for this age group to get in cheaper than anyone else. If you are at proper pensionable age fair enough. I already subsidise their free bus passes TV Licences and heating bills. It's not as if this lot fought in the war! They have never had it so good!

The thing with free entry for kids is it means they get brought in with little or no interest in watching the game, as we discovered when a terracing module was being used for a sit down picnic last week.
Surely families with kids who have a genuine interest in the game would not begrudge paying £1 for them to get in?
