Doesn't sound like I missed a lot. Quo on the other hand were fantastic. Anyone who thinks they're uncool, just ask my 23 year old daughter what she though. Very gratifying taking your daughter to dinosaur rock and she posts on facebook how good it was. Sent from my HTC Desire C using Tapatalk The gig was crap and they weren't entertaining. I wasn't there so am qualified to make this opinion. Their manager should also be sacked

So glad that I haven't got to put up with watching the Parkinson show anymore this season. Since he signed we have been utter shite, I truly hope that he doesn't teach the academy his style of football. The sooner we get rid the better. Seeing Watt come on today was a relief, the guy actually communicates. Just cos you have a uefa b licence doesn't make you a good footballer. Well said at least some people have the ball's to put what so many think !

Iv never really been one for forums but from reading some of the stock certain players get on here from so called supporters it's unreal. The Parkinson show Can you knock his effort his dropped 2 leagues where as stated he was proven we should be trying to attract better players not slag them off. Iv spoken to him at u21 matches and in the bar his a very down to earth young man that puts a lot of work in to OUR club. If it's not Parkinson it's Collin or Saunders. Truth has it our home form has been crap all season. Parkinson signed along with Cox , Harris , Mason Hughes have we blamed them ? . The amount of injuries we've had hadn't helped but yet the same ones get dug out each week over nonsense.

Have to agree so many forced changes and players well out of position while new and trying to fit in to a side. Never going to click like it should. I believe his quality will show next season if we can field some sort of settled side.
Plenty of great players in the game have spells im their careers where things just dont work out for them at some clubs it doesnt make them donkeys!

The good news is that the players dont read any of the criticism posted on the forum, if they did most of them would not want to play for us. I witnessed some of the abuse Jack recieved at Lowestoft when he got sent off he handled it with honesty and dignity when most people would have said @#@# off. Speak to any of the acadamy players about his coaching ability and you will find he has their upmost respect as the results show. Everyone has opinions but some are given after finding out the facts rather than emotive splurge

Unfortunately, whether you are one of the many supporters of JP or one of his detractors, it is possible that he is being judged not only on his performances, but also his previous pedigree. I also suspect that the other recent additions might have had as many starts collectively as JP has had in total. Possibly, with the same level of time on the pitch, similar comments might be levelled at those players. Maybe not! JP does appear to have that 'marmite' quality, but it would be difficult to make a case for him being either the least effective or most effective member of the squad based upon supporter's opinions. We all see different qualities in players, as well as potential faults. However, I suspect that there would be more support for having him in the team than not

JP is not a poor quality player and he is capable of playing a nice range of passes. Having said that there is one simple fact from Saturday that people cannot deny. JP played a long range 60 yard pass out of defence time after time after time. The passes were weighted so they held up in the air and this gave defenders of ETU time to get back and get a comfortable head away. For the most part the passes were ineffective and merely gave the ball back to ETU. I grant you that some of the passes were able to beat the defence and find a player (I can remember one that was swept out to Cox in the first half) but if you do something often enough then it is, at some point, going to come off. JP just needed to be told to vary his passes a little. As for the poster who put something about lumping forward being a staple part of the game at this level (or words to that effect). I guess you feel it is good investment to pay £350k for a beautiful and true pitch and then whack it all game. Charles Hughes gave us similar messages abut the top flight in the 1950s and we are still paying the price to this day! Still I guess those kick and rush merchants from Dulwich and Bognor have been found out though....oh!

The crap some people post on here about J P is laughable i believe he does a great job and alao chips in with some vital goals Proven at a much higher level than we play at currently with Woking ( whose fans were sad to see him go i believe). The amount of stick some of our quality players get on here is borderline embarrasing at times You could argue without him we would be in a lot worse state than we currently are !? Think last tuesday night for one ! Spot on. Couldn't agree any more While I am not giving him stick about being a bad player I am not prepared to accept that because he was good at Woking it means I have to stand there watching a centre-back attempt a 60 yard Ronald Koeman-style pass EVERY time he gets the ball. He needs to vary the passes from short to long and if he has to hit it long try and weight them differently, change the trajectory etc....just mix it up rather than play it up in the air for the centre backs of the other side to win it easily! I don't generally shout at my own players in frustration but I did on Saturday

I can see the sense in what you are saying but if you are a defender you are for a reason does it matter how long or short he kicks it ? I could also see the amount of players binding on Saturday that didn't want the ball so half the time the long ball was the only option and he wasn't the only 1 yet he gets singled out it seems. Without having a dig at Jerome his passing is borderline awful but again his a defender if they could all pin point there passes or dribble out the back like Maldini they wouldn't be here. I think there's a few players here getting away with a lot the so called key players in midfield and up top without mentioning names that have been very poor of late. I'm hearing Steve Watt is the answer ... I'm a bit Watty fan but come on he came on with 20 mins to go when we were already loosing we was always going to have a go.

On another note. Interesting to see Rooney has still not stared a game for Luton since he had signed. With a small amount of games left surly would have been better with us and playing football ?

Watty's experience will be invaluable if he can remain fit and injury free until the end of the season, but that will resolve one problem only. We are not that far short of being as successful as we would all wish, but key deficiencies have arrived at crucial times of the season in the form of injuries to key players. That aside, I am sure that we would all now be celebrating at least a guaranteed playoff spot. That might seem distant now, but it is still a remote possibility

I can't help but think we're all missing the point a little here. The problem on Saturday was that the midfield wasn't dropping back in to pick the ball up anywhere near enough. With no one to pass too it leaves little option but to go long (which I hate).
On more than one occasion I clearly heard JP yell 'come and f'ing get it' at the midfield to no avail. Charlie was lost in the midfield on Saturday and Mickey P had one of his quieter games as clearly not fully fit. Does JP go long too often? Maybe, but I think the options were limited with little help from the midfield
For me if Steve Watt can stay fit next year, him and JP would make a formidable centre half pair at this level and a solid base for the team.

so basically then we need players to yell out 'give the f'ing ball to me' from a position that is tactically beneficial..problem solved

The musicianship was better, the energy levels were amazing, and it probably helps that this time round they're not all off their heads on cocaine. It's a shame Quostone doesn't post anymore. He'd get what I'm on about. Wilko was great as well and Hammersmith is a proper place to host rock gigs.
