First 20 mins was just shambolic. if we are so weak in midfield that we have to pull Flisher in of the wing to bolster it up, why can we not recall Fabio, he had his critics but anyone would have been better than what we saw there today..

I'm a big Jay fan, but it was the tactics that were a problem today for me. To be fair I'm guessing injury and suspension played their part in how we set up, but we looked like a team of strangers at times for the first 60 minutes.
The system we were playing often led to our best players being out of position. When Zac's dropping in at left back there's a problem. We often ended up with 2 banks of 5 at either end of the pitch with us hoofing it from one end to the other. We desperately missed the midfield coming to pick up the ball from the defence.
Still on a positive note, was great to see Frannie coming back (looked sharp) and even more fantastic to see Watty back, lifted the whole team when he came on, was clear how much we've missed our leader.

Probably the worst start to a match this season the first twenty minutes thay were all over us we had no bite we looked half a sleep, But thankfully we did slowly get into the game and in the second half the tables were turned and it was all Stones but credit to the Thurrock boys who defended for there lives but in the end its a game we should have won. My motm Ellott cox..

From my point of view...the match was very bland.

Some of the other results did not help, particularly with every other team with a realistic chance of making the playoffs having games in hand on us. Even with the 2 dropped points it may have been out of our hands. Realistically, we need at least 10 of the remaining 15 points on offer to secure a playoff spot, allied with some good fortune in others dropping valuable points as well. Agree with Cox as MOTM

I think today was the day that our play off dreams ended, the last few weeks have been like watching a drowning man finally slip below the water line, let's hope the last few weeks of the season we can put some credible performances in, it's the least we deserve, regarding the game it was a poor first half, which improved greatly in the 2nd half when Frannie and Watts came on, I can only hope we can at least win the league cup....COYS

Without Watty were are f*****. Even in the 25 minutes to 30 he started bossing this team. Heard that Nathan Campbell is out for the season now - we need another midfielder. Please find a good one Jay.

Utter shite. We had a better team on the bench. We only managed the draw because of a lucky goal that came out of nothing.
I think that's it for the play-offs. By the time we play Bognor all the other top 7 will have played their games in hand, and, if we've carried on playing like this, we'll be points adrift at 6th, possibly even 7th. And even a win over Bognor won't be enough to get us back into the top 5.
I felt really sorry for anyone who saw us for the first time against Dulwich and came back today on the strength of that.

I hope you got the money you paid to get in back! I got paid. F**k me! I'm bringing my kit next home game. Even at 60 I can't do worse than some on the pitch today.

So glad that I haven't got to put up with watching the Parkinson show anymore this season. Since he signed we have been utter shite, I truly hope that he doesn't teach the academy his style of football. The sooner we get rid the better. Seeing Watt come on today was a relief, the guy actually communicates. Just cos you have a uefa b licence doesn't make you a good footballer.

Oddly enough I think Watt and Parkinson would be our best centre back pairing. Certainly looked that way when Watt came on. Did you not see, perhaps, the pass of the season from JP in the first half?
