Oh, and before we get before we get the ‘he did a job’ I can do a job at plastering but it’s crap!

I can’t believe it took him so long to realise he wasn't going to get a game Unfortunately the fact that he kept getting game time up until the past month or so explains this Perhaps rephrase to "I cant believe it took so long for him not to get a game"!

I assume Danny was going to leave after his 100th appearance.
If this was the case, feel Jay was out of order really in not just giving him ten minutes (mind you maybe plans changed).
Faversham will be probably be after him (we only have Danny Hockton and Aaron Lacy over 30 and could probably do with another experienced head).
Wouldn't surprise me if every Ryman South club in Kent came after him though.

Why is it none of these players sign for folkestone? If you could pick a team who would it be?

I would go to Hythe as they are probably paying the better money

Islandstone asks why none of these players sign for Folkestone. Quite simple really and answered by toon army in that Folkestone don't have any money to pay them the sort of amounts they can get at Hythe and possibly other Kent teams in Ryman South. Also Cugley would rather try to use and develop young players rather than rely on over 30s on their way down hill, just need to look at the Folkestone team to see how few "oldies" there are, plenty of players with experience but still quite young and having played for Folkestone for several years
