Just seen a tweet from MUFC that the club shop will be closed tonight due to a “shortage of stock and staff”. For god's sake - that’s like seeing the local restaurant with a sign saying “Closed for lunch”. Sometimes, swearwords are not enough. Next time you spend 6 hours in A&E I'll expect you to be in work within hours, Yep OK - I was hasty to mention the staff shortage part of this… but the “shortage of stock” excuse still rankles. It’s not the first time - by now there should have been a bunch of commemorative Ipswich v Stones memorabilia on offer. There were good crowds at both draw events and yesterday and no shop. The club cannot afford to waste opportunities to promote its brand and monetise success. I’d be surprised if that was regarded as heresy.

Had to chuckle at this comment on the Torquay forum "Not what we deserved though really. Maidstone are ultimately a poor side and we've lost to them 3 times this season" Poor side 1 ‘What would you call Torquay then?’ 0 Poor side 2 ‘What would you call Torquay then who previously lost to this poor side just a week earlier ?’ 0 Poor side 3 ‘What would you call Torquay then who previously lost to this poor side twice before and haven’t learnt a single lesson?’ 2 Poor side FA Cup 5th round who beat ‘Torquay on route to 5th round who had previously lost to this poor side just a week earlier’ Poor side 3rd in league Glad I don’t have to support Torquay

It's an established fact.
Torquay have more than there fair share of 'tossers'

I'm starting to think that Mo Faal is actually Levi Amantchi, who has escaped from Bromley and come back to play for us. If not then George really has found the ideal replacement and long may he prosper. Great strike from Sam Corne, but still think Lamar's goal is more complete, simply because of where the move started from.

Even his goal last night was a carbon copy of one of Amanchi’s

Had to chuckle at this comment on the Torquay forum "Not what we deserved though really. Oh, and the other 'poor' sides you lost to this season: Aveley, Truro, St Albans, HHT, Weston, H&R, Dartford, Chelmsford and Worthing (twice). Life is SO unfair.

Corne's goals is just as spectacular on the highlights, even though you know it's coming up!
Got to feel for Faal, though, his goal was worth goal of the match, before Corne struck.
Incidentally, why do we keep taking Faal off? Two goals, and another couple of good chances down to him - surely he's earnt the right to stay on the pitch?

As you get towards the end of the game he gets tired and we don't want him to Faal over and hurt himself.

Given some didn’t even want him getting the job, and until recently have questioned his every decision, I’m happy to trust his judgement. One day we will miss him.

I wasn't criticising George, I was just wondering what the reason was - tactical, injury, tiredness, etc. Although Faal does seem to fade in the second half I would think he's still worth having on the pitch for the odd 'Amantchi'moment. And it's not as if he isn't used to playing at our level.

Best ignored.

Obvs because George wants to give Duku (?) some game time before Coventry, so he takes one centre forward off to put on another. T’aint rocket science.

The poser of said question and rocket science are as far apart as Uranus is from the moon. Very far apart.
