All joking apart, as some point people will realise that these knobs are affecting our enjoyment on match day and will start to self-police

That’s a bit light. I’d go braindead, attention seeking c**t, personally It's great you're outing people but I wasn't there, I was working🤣🤣🤣 I don't think you are braindead or an attention seeker but one out of three ain't bad.😁

Likely outcomes of regular misbehaviour at home games.
1. Someone will get seriously injured. Most likely an innocent bystander. 2. National League will fine us, or force us to play behind closed doors. 3. Nothing will be done and the depressing incidents will continue (most likely).

It’s still doing something you’re not supposed to do.

When it’s busy, the steps are a better view than barging your way through people for a gap in the middle of the terracing. If we didn’t have so many stewards policing the barrier, you could have one at the top of each stairway keeping it clear.
Police at Ipswich showed an iron fist in a velvet glove. Lots of friendly chat after the game until someone did something and was surrounded within seconds by several police who were going to take no nonsense. But they’re used to much tougher crowds like Millwall, than little old Maidstone.
If we must have the current set up, the rules need to be strictly enforced. Instead we have a handful of narcissists who always push things to the limit.

Against Avely we had a steward right infront of the row of steps, he did nothing other than roll his eyes and shake his head. Stewards let people stand there, so it must be allowed.

No. That bit in the front is for pretend conducting and interpretive dance.

Hardly bad behaviour.
Just over-crowded for home supporters as per usual with a 3,000 attendance and segregation.

At the risk of being pedantic (oh go on), it is against ground rules to stand on the stairs and in the front, and to invade the pitch. While the club has an absolute legal duty to ensure the safety of all fans, you could argue they wouldn’t have been injured if they didn’t misbehave. Although if anyone injured that day did sue for damages, it wouldn’t take much to prove ongoing and regular failure by club stewards to enforce basic safety rules.
Just one example. On the last home unsegregated game, the stewards said there would be no standing on the top row of the usual away section. Within 20 minutes they stopped bothering to enforce it. When talking about a potential crush situation at Highbury in Fever Pitch, Nick Hornby talks about how Hillsborough proved that contrary to belief, there never was a plan. For decades, football clubs just squeezed people in and hoped for the best.

When talking about a potential crush situation at Highbury.... In 1988. I saw Arsenal v Everton in the League Cup semi final. There were 55,000 that night (I think). The North Bank was an absolute crush and I came back talking about how they needed to limit numbers in different parts of grounds or there would be problems one day. Sadly, they proved to be prophetic words...
