Tbh i never did believe the claims of these so called informed sources. Believe what you like. I have only ever passed on what I’ve been told.

I don’t doubt you were told it. But whenever someone at work tells me something can’t be done due to GDPR or Elf n Safety, I always ask them to show me the regulation. Almost anything can be done when there is a will.

So the game is still basically segregated. It's so strange that they seemingly refuse to remove the barrier, yet they would in the past. I think it's a much more solid barrier these days, so not easy to move. I could dismantle that in half an hour with a couple of spanners.

Please can you explain why the Genco Stand was not built at the Town End ? Maybe starting at the far end as to not block the way for getting more stuff through. now that doesn’t make sense as a sentence but I mean if you Build the town end up perhaps you can’t then get the machinery and beams etc to the other end? Easy to get stuff in. Even easier to turn it into an exit for our biggest stand.

Just when I thought that the club was beginning to turn a corner in how supporters are treated

Does this mean segregation is back in force ?
Are away supporters going to be given a swathe of the Genco again ?

But is it just a rumour ?
Can't see anything on the club website to say we are gifting away a chunk of the Genco.

Aveley's av home attendance - 487. Highest home attendance - 919 (Barnet - Cup). Highest league attendances: Torquay 727, Stones 729, Yeovil 688.
They are not exactly going to fill the away section to capacity...
Just for comparison - our av home attendance this season 2,131. Highest home attendance:- Stevenage 4,024 (Cup). Highest league attendances: H&RB 3,119, Yeovil 3,119, Tonbridge 3,021.

If segregation is back, it can only be so we can give them a certain amount of guaranteed tickets with a view, surely?
There shouldn’t be any agro….shouldnt be…but if a bunch of West Ham fans came down or if they won a contentious match…

According to Aveley's own website the match is open to anybody who can pay at the turnstile. Pointless segregation if indeed there is any.
