Found out today fro club member of staff that just over 900 tickets were available on general sale for the Ipswich game which means over half went to corporate/staff family and friends hope the club do the decent thing and limit this for the next round

Boo Hoo
For the players it will be the biggest game of their career, so why should they not have their friends and family in attendance?
Would you rather have your family and friends cheering you on or someone who just jumps on the bandwagon that will only turn up to see the club again when there is a big game?
As long as the tickets were sold at face value and not given away free then who cares.

How many tickets were available to playing members of the club across all levels - men's, women's, youth, community teams - & their +1 or +2?
These are the genuine club supporters, the likes of me merely a follower (albeit one of over forty years)
No, I didn't get a ticket either & I would like to thank those on this forum, & on social media, for keeping us informed to the extent that I was dissuaded from making a wasted journey (in my case, of 45 mins each way) & joining a queue that would have been frustratingly fruitless. As JDH said above, provided that these were purchased rather than given then I can only feel pride that our club is in such strong health rather than bitter at having to armchair watch Maidstone United playing live on BBC1 (a distinct contrast to our TV appearances in the autumn of 1992!)

From a humorous point of view, it's a shame that Punjab Utd is at home on Tuesday rather that away. The uninformed / michievous musings of many would we take to Chandigarh would have been most entertaining!

I do my best to get tge club to do the right things for us all, they rarely listen and that is why I haven't done a home game this year. They just want your money mate.

Block two seemed to be full of youth players, volunteers and their families. They deserve a ticket way more than anyone, even a season ticket holder like me. We’re in the fifth round of the FA Cup, drawn against clubs where there will be plenty of spare capacity for a midweek game. Take a day off work and enjoy the game.
Also worth remembering, Ipswich imposed all the ticketing decisions, including fines for any unsold Maidstone tickets. With the benefit of hindsight, there were always going to be enough new and casual fans to sell 4500 tickets. But we didn’t know that for a fact after some midweek games where fewer than 500 non season ticket holders turned up to pay for a home game. Who can blame the club for rewarding the army of volunteers before occasional fans?

I don’t have a problem with the way the tickets were sold. I got one though so maybe that’s why.
The club won’t have to worry as for the next round I reckon we will struggle to sell 3000

Midweek game means battle to sell 2500 tickets.
