Coventry City is three hours from Maidstone, Hillsborough at least an hour longer - and these are just travel times, so anyone intending just to go to the game and come straight home again is looking at leaving soon after lunch and not getting back until the wee small hours. Seems like an overnight stay is required. Think I would prefer Coventry because they are in the mix for a play off place and (like Ipswich) might just have their eye on the bigger prize. Wednesday are in a relegation battle, which somehow often inspires a cup run and will probably take us much more seriously. Indeed, starting your reserves against Stones is, in hindsight, not a good idea. Far better to start with your first eleven and then bring on the youngsters once you are 3-0 up. Which Ipswich could have done after 20 minutes on Saturday. But then they know that now...

Apparently Wrexham took 6000 fans to Coventry in fa cup last season as per talk sport this morning Due to the design of their stadium, it's a lot easier for Coventry to give more tickets than Sheffield Wednesday.

Not convinced it will be on tv as there are too many big prem clubs to show and only 3 games likely on tv,if it had been a weekend game it would have been definite. I can’t find any info on Google but last year I am sure only a couple of games weren't on TV. We will see but we need that money!! They were likely on Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon but this year they are not on weekend with only Mon/Tues/Wed as probable days for live matches thar cuts down the coverage to just 3 games unless they have 6pm and 8pm start times and I cannot see that happening. As the Premier league run football in this country I can see them insisting that their clubs are chosen. We shall see, I very much hope that I'm wrong.

Multiple games on tv at the same time. Nice. Hopefully we get ITV, the bbc can get stuffed.

So, with Wrexham losing at Blackburn, we are the only survivors from outside the Premier League & Championship

Whatever else George does, he will always be the manager who took a NS team to the last 16 of the FA Cup.
In his first season as a manager!!

When I was queuing to buy my ticket, Bill was there moaning that he’d spent 60 years trying to get to the 4th round, and George had done it in his first full season!

One of the teams we're all supposed to be so excited and grateful to have a chance to play (Coventry), managed 22,724 (586) attendance while pushing for promotion to the Premier League. Unless it is priced well, our <2000 midweek fans will have all the seats they want.

I can see either opponents going down the minimum £10 route to get a good attendance and in this time of financial hardship I think it's the way to go.
