Comfortably the worst game of the season at the Gallagher. A lack of quality on both sides, although we have the excuse that a number of players were, hopefully, being rested.
The only bright spot was Faal, who combined an ability to fall over his own feet, lack any kind of presence in the air and poor hold-up play with one very good through ball and a neat finish from probably his only chance - he could be the new Levi Amantchi.

Realistically, if we’re to compete in the league we have to hope for the expected result on Saturday. Much as I’d love us to pull off the biggest shock in our history we need to get back to normality. Longer term to get a result would be much better. Forget the league!

Agreed. Based on NLS last season, we are two points from safety. The cup run is everything in terms of finances and publicity. We aren’t yet set up for NL survival. But think what could be done with the prize money, TV money and gate receipts if we progressed. Of course, the script says we will turn up, be comfortably beaten, then applauded by both sets of fans at the end. I hope our players will ignore the script and achieve the almost impossible.

Its looking more likely we wont even make the playoffs. Plenty of games in hand around us Our league form says it all, the last 10 games we're a mid-table team. After Saturday, we need to get our act together, or we will miss the playoffs.

I think he is Levi Amantchi under a false name who got fed up with not getting a game at Bromley. The similarities are remarkable.

The Cup is a distraction - albeit an enjoyable one - our business is the league. We need to do as well in it as we can, otherwise what's the point?

Indeed, form needs to be good enough to maintain interest in the playoffs right to the last game of the he season. Or poor enough to result in a relegation battle...😭😤☹️
