Just cycled past the ground and there appears to be a new gantry being constructed on the river side on the halfway line. Looks like it’s gonna be quite substantial.

I thought I read somewhere earlier in the season that now we can live stream certain games that all NL grounds have to upgrade their media areas to provide the best possible coverage. PS I think funding or part funding was also available though I may have dreamt that bit.

This is something Oliver has talked about. It’s an NL requirement to have a media gantry positioned on the halfway line. It was mentioned a few months ago that they were only waiting on planning permission. I assume that’s now been granted and they can now erect a permanent structure on that side of the ground.

Could also help with segregation when we move away fans to the town end. A dead zone underneath to protect the dug outs. Could even put up cheap temporary seating on the away half of the riverside. You know it makes sense. gleventsstadia.co.uk/products/modular-stand/

You wait until they spot the lesser spotted greater crested newt on the riverbank, we'll probably have to tear the Gallagher down and move it 5 yards to the right.
