Will there be any more interest in this game than last week's? After the necessity of good away form at the start of the season, over the last six games we have been pretty mediocre: W1, D1, L4, conceding twice as many goals as we've scored in the process. Sluff, meanwhile are the opposite at home: W4, D2, L0, scoring twice as many as they concede. The form book therefore points firmly at a 2-1 defeat! Suspect that Team George will have been working hard on defensive drills this week, with a 0-0 draw and no suspensions or injuries carried forward to Ipswich the following week, though there is also the home game v Braintree on Tuesday. Challenging times...

When you look at our form, you have to wonder exactly how we are still in the play-offs.
Very strange league this season.

The bookies have Slough as 5/4 favourites with the Stones at 8/5,the draw is your bog standard 5/2. These odds reflect what Mr lots of 6's says above and are just about spot on. I hope our players do not do a Steve Butler(when called up for Enland semi pro's) and run away and avoid the ball and any possible injury for the whole game when we played Aylesbury. I would like to think that George would not tolerate that sort of behaviour but he also has to watch himself or he'll be up in the Cobbold stand with the fans at Ipswich. I've not made my mind up whether to go or not yet and I think that decision will come about 09.00 on Saturday morning but it is fairly easy on the choo choo. I've gone for 0-0 but I hope for those definitely going that I'm wrong and it's entertaining at least.

Just three post on Sluff, but plenty on other topics. Will there be more interest come the game itself?

Not much interest from me. Pee’d of having to miss my first match of the season tomorrow for a 90th birthday but couldn’t think of a better one to miss (parallels the likes of Dover etc). Their fans were moronic on last visit and I think we have not won away on 3G in the league this season.
Hope my absence makes it the first away win on 3G in the league this season.

Goal to Slough. Anyone want to buy an Ipswich ticket?

Just noticed - Ipswich are away at Leicester on Monday. Very big game for them - a win takes them back to 2nd and cuts the gap between then down to just 4 points.
Can't see them being too bothered about a game against a NS team just 4 days later...

Certainly don't think of us as a dirty side, but we seem to get more than our fair share of red and yellow cards, so something's not right and another red today seems to have cost us at least a point. Meanwhile, the statistics proved exactly right...

Certainly not surprised to see Gurung got another booking, his disciplinary record is terrible

Did well to only narrowly lose with that midfield… desperately need more steel in that area and we miss Corne hugely. Oh well… don’t want to get promoted anyway!
