The supporters club have organised 5 coaches 300 seats for our FA Cup game at Ipswich
The cost is £25 per seat, no concessions, if you are a member of the supporters club (not a season ticket holder) this will be reduced to £20
The coaches will leave from the car park at The Gallagher Stadium at 8.30am This is a change from our usual procedure
Payment is by cash only, (exact money will help)
To help with the numbers we are expecting there will be an opportunity to pay before the game, this will speed up the process on the day and get you on your coach quicker
Details will be released at a later time
Please be at The Gallagher for 8am as we will have a lot of supporters to get on the coaches
No alcolhol can be consumed on a football coach, by law!
Should we be stopped by the police and this rule has been broken the coach can be turned around and the organiser (me) could be fine up to 50K
If you would like to book seats I can be contacted by text on 07921 193374, please no phone calls as I wont be able to book any seats that way
The club will be open from 7.30am, the burger bar will also be open, however no hot food is allowed on the coaches
Thank you for your assistance
Tim

Tim, if you'd been doing this 30 years ago (same Saturday in 1994) it would be: Away to Palace in the Cupas it happens not our happiest day of that season as we lost 4-1 at Eltham Palace in the 2nd round of the Kent Junior Cup !? [well they were two divisions above us in the KCL]
It's some irony that Eltham Palace were, having been promoted to a senior league [SCEL1] and relocated [to Chislehurst], groundless & going bust but were bought out [2016] by Stansfeld O&B whilst a replacement club would later be formed & currently play in a local Sunday league.

I was there 30 years ago and came to PBB's rescue when his big mouth went into overdrive. I got clobbered by a man who must have been 7ft tall and could if he wanted gave killed the both of us. PBB got a scare I got a fractured cheekbone.Happy days!😁

I wasn't this stupid 30 years ago! To say the last 2 days have been challenging doesn't begin to do it justice!

As was mentioned by JDL further up this thread, the supporters coaches filled very quickly Following a meeting with Ian Tucker and John Harvey at our committee meeting last night which I am grateful both those guys took time out of their busy lives to attend (just goes to show what a great club we have) extra coaches are being organised For continuity, continue to text me your coach requirements, you will receive a reply from me explaining how you can book seats on these coaches, please no phone calls, sorry! As a supporters club we reached the limit of our capabilities with 300 seats However, they responded to my call and I have nothing but thanks to the way our club has responded From the owners, management and staff I cant praise these guys enough for what they do for us! Ok, now for the rant! Some people need to take a step back before before they criticise people who have our club in their hearts! Rant over! Enjoy the day

I was impressed by the way the whole ticket sale was organised, with eight volunteers on four tables processing people quickly. We probably take for granted how much we owe them for what they do for Maidstone United. Organising multiple coaches for hundreds of people must be a real logistical headache.

Many thanks Tim. It probably doesn't feel like it, but I'm sure most of us understand what a huge task you took on here and are very grateful for what you are doing. Credit to the club too for sorting out more coaches.
