Looking at the teams who find themselves shell shocked and like rabbits startled in headlights, in the National League for the first time, it only takes one bad owner.

This is an extreme case but this is also the reason why I am completely happy with our owners and long may they reign.
Yes, the Manchester takeover may have worked out well and he is a fan as well so that is reassuring but having an owner who has no emotional stake in the club worries me.

Very interesting. But it has echoes both of the Clown and Clough's brief time at Leeds. It will be interesting to see how it turns out.

Seems to want to appear tough rather than sort out the mess in a quiet effective manner.

Big George to take over at FGR?

Big George to take over at FGR? Any manager who backs himself will avoid that poison chalice in my opinion. I am sure he will get offers now he has the exposure, but hopefully in the summer. As an aside, I always expected Luke Garrard to be poached from Boreham Wood but it didn't happen. Maybe he, like Jay, should have taken up some of those early approaches when his stock was high.
