Not the worst, but a VERY long way from being the best. How much are we going to make from this - with and without TV money? And Newport or Eastleigh get Man U... Yeah but at home so no big money there for Eastleigh but likely to be on tv which is bad news for us as I doubt they'll show 2 non league clubs so we need to be cheering the Welsh on in the replay.

A quarter of a million for a share of gate receipts not to be sniffed at and would take our cup earnings over half a million. Beggars can't be choosers, I guess.

It's disappointing. No chance of a decent result and no game changing windfall. But it would be nice to sign a half decent non-cup tied striker for this game...even if only for a month!

I am happy for not to be on TV - bigger attendance, greater atmosphere and a Saturday Kick Off

If its a Saturday or Sunday then I'll make the effort to go but Thurs/fri/Mon night would be too much effort.

Already checked, rail engineering works and replacement buses between Colchester and Ipswich 🤬 It’ll be Thursday night on TV as a sop to being ignored last time. £80,000 TV money. £300,000 our share of gate receipts. £20,000 gate receipts for the replay. £120,000 prize money for winning the replay on penalties. £500,000+ in total. These figures (and results) may be complete fantasy.

If they get a full house with average ticket price of say £15 then we can pocket about £168,000. Not bad for a days work.

Just looking into it, you actually get 100k if you are chosen for a TV game.
