Shame they didn't want to know us before today. First up on MOTD is nothing but a guilt trip and a piss poor attempt to paper over their bias for Premier league teams. I pay a license fee ,as do you, we should be given the choice of what games are screened live on BBC television.🤬🤬🤬

I was so excited I couldn’t sleep, so I went downstairs to start on MoD ( which I normally save until Sunday morning), only to find the Sky box had malfunctioned. After reloading it, I’d only got the last two minutes (which at least had Jermaine Jenas saying “Congratulations to Maidstone United” as a sign off). Just as well I found out then, as I was able to set the morning repeat to record. But I bet Heathside’s highlights will be better.

I was so excited I couldn’t sleep, so I went downstairs to start on MoD ( which I normally save until Sunday morning), only to find the Sky box had malfunctioned. After reloading it, I’d only got the last two minutes (which at least had Jermaine Jenas saying “Congratulations to Maidstone United” as a sign off). Just as well I found out then, as I was able to set the morning repeat to record. But I bet Heathside’s highlights will be better. To be honest they were pretty decent highlights and covered most of the main talking points including Corne’s clearance off the line. Confirmed the penalty and also showed we could well have had another. Decent punditry afterwards as well. |

It’s true to say that Maidstone didn’t have a senior club for 25 years as we moved to Sittingbourne when our senior status was granted. |
