If Devonte got loaned out for not being passionate enough to win the whole team today could end up on loan. On todays form Stevenage should record their record score ever. They should refund the home paying crowd which was much higher than they deserved. |

According to KOL, we had two shots on goal in the first half and just one in the second, but their keeper will have fewer easier afternoons than that.
Jacob B-A looked ok, Appiah likewise and Corne worked hard, but we really missed Sam Bone. Greenidge out, again. Sol looked little boy lost and Rush, for all his running was going nowhere against much taller defenders.
Not sure even Levi would have done anything because we had zero cohesion in their half. Could have played till midnight and not scored.

I thought we were unlucky today. Facing a really well-marshalled defence we made a small number of chances and got close a couple of times but couldn’t quite get the job done. We were beaten by what looked like a really well-taken poacher’s goal from a throw-in - 99 times out of 100 we would have cleared that.
On the positive side, we like Jacob, we really like Liam’s considerable contribution and it was great to see Chi back nearly at his considerable best.
Easy to get despondent but frankly, I didn’t expect to be in the playoff zone at this stage. I did expect a couple of seasons of consolidation at this level and I still hope that’s what we are going to get - a chance to build a team, to find another investor if that’s possible and to develop a set of expectations amongst the supporters that is realistic, so that we can get back to singing and celebrating when we do something great.

Seems a fair summary to me.
Shocking performance. no effort (from most players), couldnt care less attitude, no passion and precious little quality.
Wish I hadnt bothered, cause the team wasnt !
