A quick question for anyone who knows better,
How would you get to Kings College hospital London using public transport. I can see going from Ebbsfleet to go on the high speed to St Pancras, and then getting a train down to Denmark Hill is not too bad a way.
I'm just wondering if there is an easier/quicker way?

Hey GGstone -- quickest route from Maidstone is to change at Otford and get a direct train to Denmark Hill from there. Much easier than the hassle of going all the way up to St Pancras, and cheaper too. I'm local, so happy to help with any other logistics.

Done that a few times for Dulwich away.

OK, here is a trickier question for you all: How does one get from London (a small village Northwest of the Stone) to Tonbridge before 12.00 on the 26th December? It appears that Nat Express do not go to Tonbridge and trains outside of London aren’t running.
As Swordy is prone to saying, “Unbelievable Jeff”!

Public transport on Boxing Day is virtually nonexistent. If you can’t get to Maidstone I can pick you up at the Gallagher at around 11:30. Mind you getting home again could also be a problem.

Turkey and cocktails on Christmas day, Pub Crawl and football on Boxing day.

Thanks for the offer Dave but as you rightly point out I cannot get to Maidstone either. Whilst the tube and buses still run in London on Boxing Day when did the rest of the country stop public transport? I am certain that years ago we could take buses and trains on Boxing Day.

Never happened - at least not outside London. It's a weird British thing - the rest of the world just carries on as normal. In Hungary, for instance, there are actually extra services on Xmas day, as it's the day you visit family (presents are given the night before) and the drink/drive limit is zero, so they can be busy.
