If anyone is considering going by train - in one of my more optimistic moments, I looked it up.
The obvious route is ME-London Bridge, then change at Croydon (I think), and Gatwick - but it takes about 3 hours.
But you can also do it the cross-country way, via Tonbridge and Redhill - four changes (Paddock Wood, Tonbridge, Redhill & Gatwick), but it takes only slightly longer than the 'obvious' route, and, because it avoids London, it's cheaper. The station is also quite near the ground. And the Tonbridge to Redhill bit is very pleasant...
Personally, I do not want to watch Worthing (with or without Luque) badly enough to endure 6 hours+ on the train and eight waits on stations. But for those Stones fans who live near this route (say, in Tonbridge...) it might be a decent option.

I have 2 Xmas parties to attend on Saturday so I'll not be going plus my health is not great at the moment so 3-4 hours travelling plus a cold and probably damp day is not appealing.
