Further to the Why is it so quiet thread, have been looking up our Saturday games, which really are few and far between: August, one game, 2-1 v Slough September, one game, 4-0 v Worthing October, one game, 1-1 v Farnborough November, no games at all December, one game v Chippenham, plus the FA cup tie v Barrow
So, by the half way stage of the season, there will have just FOUR home league games on Saturdays, when we know crowds are always better than midweek. It doesn't get much better after Christmas, though we do have two Saturday games in January and three in February, then it is two in March and just one in April. Ok, there are another two or three bank holiday games, but over the whole season, just 12 of our home games will have been on Saturdays. No wonder I'm feeling hard done by.

Guess we’ll find out on Tuesday how many fans turn up for a local derby that’s not all ticket.
