Everyone down to the Village Hotel that night to make as much noise as possible so they don’t sleep.
Always remember last time Barrow fans were here and stood in the middle of our kids singing “40 virgins and a drum…”.

To them we are just an annoyance that has to be brushed out of the way, so they get someone worth having in the third round. If they've had anyone watching us recently, they won't even be bothered - just a job that needs to be done as quickly as possible, with the least effort required.

We used to play Barrow unsegregated. If there’s any more than four police standing on the exit steps being paid overtime for doing nothing, the club should ask for a refund.

How many would have come by train anyway? Google says it’s a six hour marathon of four train and tube changes. And is the same time to drive. Plus no feasible return journey in the afternoon.

I have done that drive, and it's a bastard. I certainly wouldn't do that to watch Stones play at Barrow. In fact, having been to Barrow, offhand, I can't think of anything that would entice me to visit it again.

With racist views like you have I'm proud to be an adopted northerner. You stay in kent , it suits ya NORTHERNERS LA LA LA NORTHERNERS LA LA LA Is being Northern a different race to being down south ? Looking at some of our travelling yoof (at Oldham in particular last season) you'd think so yes. I particularly enjoyed the irony of their singing songs about the impoverished north when Oldham is actually - by several measures - just a little bit more affluent than Maidstone I know it's generally just banter.

Talking about inappropriate or ironic chants, when we played Woking in the FA cup in 2009 I found “the wheels on your house go round and round” highly amusing consider the number of high end properties we passed.

In 2006, I introduced that little chant to a mate in the Carlisle away end at Gillingham. He then started it off and by half time it was getting sung loads. I even noted people coming out to get their half time tea/pie, with arms round each others shoulders, singing it. A great day for me Surely, on a similar theme, you, with your long locks, are susceptible to the 'Where's your caravan chant'? Maybe I could start it off in the Genco

But we are talking about the frozen wastelands around Barrow, not Oldham.
From what I hear, it sounds a really orrible place.
Expect a few Barrow supporters to travel. It must be nice for them to get out of the town

According to the Office of National Statistics, the Barrow population is very nearly bottom of the national happiness scale. Sounds run down and derelict. Can't imagine much travelling support to the Garden of England.
