Why oh why did we let him go? Because he wasn't and still isn't fit enough to play a substantial role that his ridiculous wages demanded. The clue here is that he came on as a late sub I would have been more impressed if he'd played the full 90 minutes. With Levi gone I’d be happy with Joan as a scoring super sub to take the pressure off Rushy to be a lone scoring striker. Also about time Sol Wanju Smith went out on loan to someone like Sittingbourne. I’ve list patience waiting for him to do anything now and I’m amazed George hasn’t as well. |

Still carrying an injury, apparently (is this why he always seems to be taken off?), so hard to judge. But a very frustrating player - he looks the part and often has impressive moments, but somehow never really seems to be he player he looks. If it's the long-tern injury that's causing that, then OK, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, and he's an OK NS player, even when he's not doing anything special. But I always have the feeling that he could be a brilliant NS player, even a good NL one, if only... Quite what the missing ingredient is, I don't know - coaching, maturity, being injury free, attitude? Who knows. |

Back on thread - Barham again last night! His 9th for them. He scored 18 for us in our Championship season, so he's on track for something similar. Pretty good for the division above. And it's helped them to the edge of the play-offs - only missing out on GD. Makes it even more depressing that Hack couldn't get that out of him last season. |

Razzaq joins Aveley. Wouldn’t be surprised if he appears on here very soon having scored for them. The my are our close rivals so we could live to rue letting him go to them.
