Glebe fc of SECL have been given a total of £911,000 in grants to improve their stadium and lay a 3G pitch, alright for some isn't it.

Looking at the map I 'm guessing one out of Chelmsford, St Albans, Hemel or Oxford will go into Nat N. My hope would be Chelmsford, (one less Athletics stadium). Am I correct that both Enfield and Hornchurch have athletics stadiums? Yeah, both of them. Been to Hornchurch first season back at Sittingbourne after the disaster that was Ashford. Needed a win to make the Ryman South playoffs and lost 2-0. Horrible game in a horrible stadium. No real facilities behind the goals so if you wanted to watch from there you needed binoculars. At least Chelmsford has some terracing behind the goals inside the track. I was at that game and agree with your comments re the ground.- However, just to correct your post - it was that 2nd and last season at Ashford when we played them. We did indeed lose 2-0 which resulted in relegation not failure to reach the play offs.

Ryan Maxwell who has just departed his role as Sittingbourne manager has been unveiled as the new manager of Bishops Stortford. He appears to have announced himself as their new manager, as opposed to being "unveiled" by them. There's absolutely nothing on the club's website or twitter account, which have been dormant for several days. I would imagine most clubs wouldn't be too impressed by that, and might even have a change of heart if nothing has yet been signed and sealed. www.bishopsstortfordindependent.co.uk/sport/former-sittingbourne-boss-maxwell-reveals-he-is-new-bishop-s-9364723/Bishops obviously didn't want him and he has now gone back to Sittingboirne.🤣

Bishops obviously didn't want him and he has now gone back to Sittingboirne.🤣 Well, Maxwell annoyed me. For my last match of the season, I went to see Sittingbourne, sitting third, play struggling Littlehampton, hoping for some free flowing football and plenty of goals. I suppose one out of two ain’t bad. Maxwell put out a reserve-ish team, who got dumped 1 - 4, but he put in a swansong appearance as a sub himself. Saying goodbye prematurely perhaps? To be fair to the club, they did let me in for £3, and gave me a token to buy a pint of Carlsberg for £2. It would have been rude not to take advantage.

So the diggers are out at Glebe fc, starting their 3G pitch.
Bearsted fc has announced that they are changing to 3G in 2025 together with a new clubhouse amd changing rooms.
Thats without any FA cup runs !

Danny Kedwell has a goal-scoring pedigree.
We need goals, has he got a season left at NLS level ?

He can't do a half decent job at Ishmian level any longer.
Perhaps SCEFL, perhaps not !

Kedwell is a bit of a sh*thouse on the pitch but actually decent enough in "real life".
