Playing devil’s advocate, I once worked in a shop where young women had to walk thousands of pounds to the bank in carrier bags. Discounting season tickets, an average home gate is probably £20,000, plus catering takings. Having that kind of ready cash might have suited certain previous owners, but is a bit of a security nightmare. The world is changing. As long as there is some provision for cash. Most food transactions now seem to be a tapped card. People are voting with their debit cards and phones. Even saw a woman pay for a drink with her watch. With the price of pints these days, that doesn't surprise me. Was it a Rolex? |

In the Isthmian Premier league a win for Cheshunt virtually relegated Margate unless the Gate can score 15 on Saturday and even then they are relying on Cheshunt losing.
Meanwhile in the Southeastern division it's also going down to the last game but long term leaders Ramsgate have been overhauled by Cray Valley PM who just need a point to be champions.

There'll be 2 big Thanet derbies next season as Ramsgate bottled it in the playoffs whilst Chatham Town progressed to the final against Enfield on Bank Holiday Monday. There was a crowd of 3000 to witness them beat Horsham on penalties aet.

I don't think so,the manager left and Graham decided to follow suit and seeing as he spends a lot of time in Spain he probably can't commit 100% to the job. I'll ask him shortly znd find out. |
