The name of Bitton fc is enough to make any supporter in the wilderness years shake with rage. Our performance against them in the FA Vase makes Needham Market away acceptable. That game was responsible for me deserting the team I love for almost 4 months in an attempt to calm down. It is therefore with mixed emotions that I report Bitton Fc have withdrawn from the Western league with immediate effect stating excessive costs as not acceptable or feasible. They hope to join a more local league next season with FA approval.
