On facebook a notification of a justgivung/crowdfunding scheme has started, aiming to produce £1,000 as a thank you from supporters. If anyone has the link, can they share here? I don't have Facebook on my phone so can't access the page.

Very disappointed to read how Beth has been treated.

Facebook Group very upset by this sacking.
Quite emotional compared to the forum. Nature of the beast ?
Still it is disappointing news. Doesn't feel good.

Wonder if we will hear anything from the Club? Not always very communicative but a statement of thanks seems the least they ought to be doing after five years service. Not many players, or indeed managers last that long.

Judging by what Beth said, it came like a bolt out of the blue. One moment she was a key member of the support team and the next moment just blown away. Discarded by the club. Under self employment regulations this can be dome easily enough. Shame.

Beth was made redundant with no notice and no severance pay and probably no thank you either. I am disgusted with the club and if they need to save money I can think of half a dozen players who could have gone first followed by a couple of coaches. If, and we'll probably not know, it was because of the injury crisis then the club should also be ashamed of itself and if the sacking was on the insistence of Hak then he has just lost every ounce of respect from me but as I said I'll doubt we will be told whose decision it was.🤬🤬🤬🤬

Beth was a popular figure at the club and with good reason. She carried on through the covid period and has always given of her best. Shame that somebody so loyal gets 'dispensed' with in this fashion. In football terms its worse than an own goal Just not like the club at all.

I'd be amazed if it were Hak's insistence.
I'll keep my powder dry and details are not really known and rumours are abound.

I was so sorry to hear that Beth had left. It is disappointing that the club's website does not make the announcement and wish her well, thanking her for 5 years of loyal service. From the little I have seen she was well liked by the players. I hope she finds another post and does well there. I had a look at those who are not fit to play. I make it 10! Most of these seem to be medium to long term injuries. We are currently without 5 of last season's squad who have re-signed, Barham, Ellul, Luque, JBW and Brown (not forgetting that we lost Phillips and Gallagher from central midfield). Hopefully Barham and Ellul are only out for a very short time, but the other 3 have longer term injuries known about before the season started (but we have not recruited adequate cover for them or the two central midfielders). 5 of the new signings have barely played, Woods has had a few games but now has a hamstring issue, but Ghandour, Wanjau-Smith and Fawole have not played many if any games, Barkers is not fully fit and Alabi does not seem able to play the 90 mins pressing game that Hak's preferred team formation requires. Why is the situation as it is? Is it the 3G pitch, the training or bad luck? Whichever it is it does not seem that it is attributable to Beth. If it was money then I doubt Beth's costs are as large as the players. We do have a large squad it seems but with 10 players out we cannot fill the bench without using a youth team player. Hoping for a positive result tonight at Barnet.

I doubt very much the Beth was paid £zillions to help fund her fleet of supercars. More likely that she is the scapegoat for up to 10 of our playing squad getting injured and staying injured for so long.

I find it hard to believe that our 3G surface is in any way responsible for our long list of injuries.
Last season our best X1 pretty much selected itself, with players mostly staying injury free for lengthy periods.
Beth has been with the club for 5 years, through the highs and lows, nobody apparently questioning her competence.
Her departure has coincided with the injuries that have dogged the squad.
Saving her wages as a physio at a time when up to 50% of the squad have fitness issues ?

If we are getting rid of the physio to save money then I suggest that all is not rosey in the financial department. The club may well have set the budget expecting 3000 as an average and we are well short of that each home game and the way we are playing will remain as short as that. They may be hoping for a decent FA Cup run nut at the moment I think we will struggle against a good home side in Needham Market. If sacking Beth is for financial reasons then I think any further investment in the team is highly unlikely . I said we would finish 14th I am now not so certain I am now thinking bottom 4 and possibly even bottom.

So I have heard.
BUT, you are talking about the infamous Marc White who fires first from the hip in double quick time.
Actually, in a perverse way I quite like the guy, he's quite a character.
He always finds somebody or something to blame when things are not quite perfect.
But can you explain how we got through last season with such a small group of players, injury free for long periods ?
Presumably it had nothing to do with having a fantastic physio.
