Such a pity Raphe Brown had such an injury hit season. Early on he was neck and neck on form with JBW. Hak knows best but I'm hoping his fitness is good enough to merit another contract.

10 clean sheets in the 19 matches he played after his return in between the sticks last November. As Gavin Hoyte says, Tom's saves were every bit as important as scoring goals. "Doesn't get the credit he deserves". Imo Tom Hadler is one of the very best keepers we have seen at the Gallager. Hoping that Hak is able to sign him up.

Well tbf, JB does have special skills for such a big man. Comes over as a proper gentle giant. TBH, the words "for such a big man" are completely unnecessary in that sentence, and actually underline the point I was making. Size has very little to do with skill and to say otherwise is disrespectful to bigger players.

If Hak's past is anything to go by, we'll start the season with an incomplete squad and still some questions, then a trickle of new players will come in, and the squad will settle down.
Not only are things against us budget-wise, so we can't get everyone we want, but I suspect, this is how Hak is - getting the right players to meld into a team is more important than starting the season with everything in place. This was pretty much what happened last season - a bumpy start, but then look how it turned out!

Who were the signings that joined us after the league season started ? Memory probably playing tricks but I thought we looked a bit ropey in pre season but kicked into gear when the league matches started.

Such a character, such a good player, not surprising he's a supporters favourite.

We’ve signed Solomon Wanaju-Smith from Hungerford Interesting, according to who? From a quick googled he’s fairly young still only 23. 6 goals last season although it looks like he’s more of a deacon esque winger.

We’ve signed Solomon Wanaju-Smith from Hungerford Too many double barrelled names for me! Imagine trying write about him and JB-W. Sports page editors will be looking for smaller font sizes to fit their reports in. 😭😇🤯

We’ve signed Solomon Wanaju-Smith from Hungerford Voted Hungerford's young player of the season. Will be interesting to see if he does sign, but not seen anything yet.
