Confirmation from the club owners, Walton Casual Fc are dead and buried😪 Walton & Hersham are promoted back to the IP though (via the playoffs). Been getting some decent crowds too. My first club and the first club we played in the league at the new stadium (we won't mention the result, though...). Once they lost Stompond Lane and had to share with WC at the souless Elmbridge Sports Hub, I feared fo their survival - but it was WC who went. Funny old game, football. And, oddly, it turns out that the ESH isn't as souless as I had imagined - the football bit is separate from the rest of the 'hub' and is actually laid out like a proper football club. So, a rare 'well done' to the sports centres designers of the world.
