Been warned to avoid Maidstone next Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Any particular reason or are the drug squad out to harass the Eastern European drug pushers again, you know the ones I told you about but was harangued by nws who managed to walk through Maidstone one day and didn't see them therefore they do not exist. The main problem now is that the Turks in the town have joined in and heroin is now freely available as well . There is even one Turkish shop openly displaying bongs that you can buy,take home and have a jolly good toke of. There are also plenty of customers as the town is being slowly filled with South London undesirables one of whom when asked for the fare for his taxi journey pulled out a gun and asked the driver what fare? Tonbridge is becoming the same as the police are grossly understaffed and those that are there seem to have given up the fight for the time being. |

If true, a lot of preconceptions and prejudices are about to be reinforced or dispelled. I hope it’s the latter.

I have it on good authority that a number of arrests were made last week in the town centre so maybe the police are finally getting on top of things. From what I am told though Maidstone is heaven on Earth compared to Dartford where things are described as "not good at all" |

Police persuaded the funeral organisers to move out of town, though not as far as Ashford as they had requested. Several pubs shut or locked their doors for several days.

My mum and dad moved to the the just built madginford estate in 1970, to escape what was happening In London,and now it's caught up here
